My first proper live show since March 2020, and I couldn't have asked for a better crowd. A squat converted into a series of bars and a club space. I played on the terrace as the light came up. House music all the way on this one. Thanks to Pavel, Serge, Eugene, Philipp and all the Low crew.

Loose Grooves for Cruisy Drives and Loungey Hangs

It’s difficult to come up with fresh ideas in this strange cabin fever environment we all have right now. Most of the time I take my inspiration and my ideas from the people dancing in front of me. It’s easy that way and exciting. But tonight I had this thought, I remembered something all DJs and dancers know about. I remembered what it is like when you have had a long set or session through the night or day. Or perhaps for a few days at a festival. And then at a certain point you are playing or dancing and everyone who is there wants to be there. This is the place. This is the time. It maybe isn’t the best gig or moment in your career or life. But for that precious period of time it is just you and the people on the dance floor. You are together as one and as a DJ you can do what you want because you are united in the music. This is often a great time to drop the tempo and play the music you love and which has real feeling. I love those moments. I tried to capture them tonight stuck in a studio on my own.
