As some of you might have guessed by now, music is incredibly important to me. I can't imagine not having the ability to express my creativity and discover more about myself through music; I've always had the option of studying, creating, and performing on musical instruments. I don't know where I would be if my family hadn't been economically able to provide me with all those opportunities. 

Therefore, I think it's important for me to give back. I want to do what I can to help make such opportunities available for people that otherwise couldn't afford them. In an ideal world, monetary barriers wouldn't hinder anyone's ability to experience self-discovery, creativity, and personal growth through music. Although this may only be a small contribution, hopefully I can help lift some of those barriers by donating any money generated by my new single "Everchanging", which comes out on Monday, to VH1 Save The Music Foundation. 'Still Waiting' is intended to be a nod to some older tracks with complextro roots. Striking the balance between many sounds and the groove is the hardest part of writing a track like this to me, so I recorded some live bass and simplified the drum parts to keep it from being overwhelming. If you have any sort of nostalgia for electro house circa 2012, hopefully this gets you moving a little!
