Often times when I do a remix, my typical approach is ‘as a fan, how do I want to put my spin on this?’ but this time it was a deep rooted desire to create something that had some form of musical narrative, where the song kept growing. I think the result is a personal and intimate connection with Clairity’s vocals/lyrics.
