"Following on from his appearance on one of the label’s launch compilations, Versalife (aka Conforce) releases his first full EP for Natural Selection. ‘Genetic Cluster EP’ releases in September and takes up the torch from Kamikaze Space Programme and Rommek, whose prior releases via the London based imprint saw support from the likes of James Ruskin, Tommy Four Seven, Takaaki Itoh, The Advent, Alienata and more.

Genetic Cluster is an impeccably crafted Electro release that maintains bite and aggression, whilst its textures and atmospheres spiral into the ether, taking the listener on an unpredictable emotional journey.

Based in Rotterdam, Versalife has seen his music released by the most highly esteemed of Electro labels such as Frustrated Funk, Clone, Delsin & TRUST. He returns to Natural Selection after releasing via their inaugural VA compilation release ‘NS001’ in 2021, with his track ‘Nostalgia’, which has gained support by some of the most respected DJ's worldwide, inc. Following their first release in January 2024, the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton is launching this April their second VA ‘Trippy Memory Lapse’. Focusing on more Deep and Trippy Techno sounds, they invite 7 international artists to offer their musical interpretation of the genre.
Opening the VA with some drone and dark atmospheric Ambient, the Japanese artist Emika Elena brings the listener on an introspective journey.

Fractal Void is an avant-garde duo based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Their experimental music blends electronic and contemporary genres located somewhere in the field of musical tension between ambient, drone, halfstep and floor-affine IDM. During their live sets, Fractal Void create vertical reflections by processing sounds through software and interaction with real instruments in every unique musical performance like the Chinese contemporary calligraphic practice Dishu.

Paris-based artist Lina Filipovich is set to release her third album, Music for an Imaginary Dancefloor. This album ventures into the intriguing space where club rhythms meet abstract, experimental sounds. Written between June and December 2022, the LP emerged from improvisations on analog synthesizers and is characterized by its dynamic energy and rich, layered textures.

Our premiere today, "Silver Ghost," combines atonal drones and atmospheric elements to create a moody, cinematic experience. The track's gritty, bleepy downtempo vibe flirts with the experimental, making it perfect for listeners who appreciate intricate, thought-provoking music. Music for an Imaginary Dancefloor will be available on May 24 via Blank Mind.

Kyntral emerged from the Buenos Aires electronic scene at the beginning of 2019 as co-founder of his own imprint, Danza Nativa. His first releases are coming from this platform, as well in the Italian label Natch Records. Currently he is developing as DJ and producer, with both facets being orientated to the deep techno genre. As a sound designer, he is characterised by psychedelic sounds, shimmering pads and tribal percussions, making clear his view on hypnotic music. His DJ sessions all have a similar concept and stand out for being gradually built with slow transitions and clever track selection.
His release starts with ‘Curación', which has a tribal connotation where the use of percussions and sounds with random patterns generates a hypnotic atmosphere. 'Amuleto' takes the leading role of the album and shows us a more solid groove, accompanied by an exotic and psychedelic synthesizer. 'Lican Ray' tells a different story, where abstraction takes a key factor generating a mental impact on the listener. The EP ends with 'Reflejo', an ambient track full of emotions and memories of a sunrise in Buenos Aires.
