HMC GUEST MIX 024 - YAKOV

This year, for our Black Box monthly takeover, we've focused on a more collaborative approach, inviting our favorite crews to join us. To kick off 2024, we were joined by our family, Konkrete Jungle Mile High.  They brought with them Adam Hester, S2PS, and Khariszma to represent.  S2PS performed one of the best mutli genre sets we've heard in the lounge. S2PS has been DJing since early 2000. Spreading the sound and love of DnB, UKG, House, Jungle, 140, Breakbeat, and Hip Hop.
S2PS is the founder of UKG proper and a resident for Upfront Range, Altitude Sickness, The Distinguished, and this was his debut set as resident for KJMH.

Q: why did I start producing music 16 years ago? 

A: I was in a breakdance crew, and the guys were making their own breakbeats. So I started making beats as well, and the first tracks I made were in the 130bpm range for breakdancing, popping & locking etc. After doing ATYYA for 10+ years professionally, I decided it is time to make a track to pay homage to my Origins.

ViBase is an electronic music project created by Maximilian McInerheney, a resident of the eastern beaches of Sydney with a passion for bass music.
ViBase sets are curated from a pool of genres by the likes of 140 Deep Minimal Dubstep, DnB, Psybass, Psybient, glitch hop, half time, downtempo, and all the juiciness in between.
ViBase has also spent the last 6 years raining in the horns of the dragon of producing music in Ableton and now features original tracks in his sets.

Step right up to the stacks and lose yourself to a journey of psychedelic grooves, wubs and dubs that will hit you in the feels. With almost 10 years of DJing in the bag ViBase’ sets are curated intentionally to the energy of the moment and provide a safe space to explore any state you are traveling through.

Debuting his original style at Art Valley and Dragon Dreaming 2023 ViBase is on a soul mission to deliver the best bass music to dancefloors all across the country and soon the WORLD!

Maximilian is also the curator of Vyoma, a substance free electronic music and lifestyle festival, a ceremonialist, a visual artist, Kendama sensei and a father too.
