With the pair jumping in the studio and switching it up sonically, this collaboration is on its way to lighting up dance floors worldwide.

Vibes are in abundance from the off, as crunchy Think breaks and spooky synth plucks set the tone for Degs to bounce in with unifying lyricism and untestable rhythmic execution. With this being the first ever link up between Degs and Hugh Hardie, ‘War Drum Riddim’ is a remarkable debut collaboration from the pairing as they fuse together their wide array of styles and influences.

Both Degs and Hugh Hardie continue to bounce from strength to strength as their musical journeys unfold. No doubt having one of the most instantly recognisable voices within drum & bass, Degs has had an incredible year seeing the release of ‘Still Messed Up’, ‘Nothing To Lose’ with Unglued, ‘Self’ with Hologram on René LaVice’s DeVice imprint, plus loads more. It's been quite a while since I posted a new mix.
2024, I was concentrating on 'live' gigs/mixing and posting them on Soundcloud but did not send out messages or promote.
Then at the end of July 2024, tragedy struck in Southport.
The horrific attack on a children's dance school including the murder of 3 innocent little girls.
Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, Bebe King, six, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, died while eight other children and two adults – dance class leader Leanne Lucas and businessman Jonathan Hayes – were seriously wounded.

Personally, being asked 3 months ago, to be a part of Recordshop Day 2025, for Audiobook, (in the Parkinson's Books shop venue), got me back mixing and wanting to play live again.
