Growing up, there were always these cassette tapes of my grandmother singing original songs that everyone talked about. When she passed away last month, we found them in her room at the nursing home, packed away for safe keeping. These 17 songs are 1 side of 1 tape.. there's 6 tapes total. I am still in complete awe of the raw talent this woman had. She was humble and kind and talented in so many ways. This is just one of the many. 

Most of these are believed to be recorded in the late 70's, early 80's. The first is a poem that we found that was written about me, the oldest grandchild. I can not begin to describe how amazing it is to hear her voice and know it is now immortalized. 

I hope you enjoy the simplicity and beautifulness that is my grandmother, Francis Christmas.. may she rest in peace and sing on forever.
