The show showcased hand-selected students from the studio of Ranee Lee. it featured almost entirely new material, including contrafacts and original compositions. Sophie was the youngest performer asked to participate, and it was a stellar night. 

Coffee (Live @ Schulich SOM)

'Easy or Not' is a Contrafact based on Easy to Love, a Standard by Cole Porter. It was based on chord structure of the tune, and returns to the original melody in parts.

In honor of the great Babci, I present six of her favorite tunes, lovely recorded in an attic on a cheap microphone, with the help of youtube backing tracks and my ukulele.
