Made for Battle of the Bits Spring Tracks VI. Somewhat inspired by Blank Banshee, and some Slynk tutorials I watched on youtube. Voting starts tomorrow so signup if you haven't already!

Irregular Withdrawal (BOTB Spring Tracks VI )

An experiment in style, construction an execution. Strange, uneven alternating beat, odd chords, weird transition in the latter part.

The melody in the end is made from a sample in which someone was fooling around with a guitar. It's been cut, timed, modulated and made to something unique.

Added some distortion for that extra "omph" :)

Very successful overall!

Ran under a different name but it's still the same! The old name was rather... damp... xD

This is the first of two siblings with Identical instrumentation - The Second being "Electronicus" - Both hovering at ~50kb in raw format.

Daryx - Melodic, Innovative and Upbeat - Minimalistic with a twist!

- All in all, a work I'm proud of.

This tune is "Archetypal Renoise Minimalism" and a very technically sophisticated piece of music. 

I named after the 5 Wave-forms I used to compose it.
- Pulse, Saw, Triangle, Sinus & Noise.

The samples are no more than 20 milliseconds long, and the tune itself runs at 32 BPM. So, there was not enough "room" to enter every note.

I Instead used the "appreggio" command to make quick tone changes as a hack of sorts.

It was entered in Battle of the Bits, Winter Chip ]I[ *WILD_CHIP* Category, way back in 2008, February the 29th! :)

I finished <3rd> out of <17> in my category & <13th> out of <89> entries overall!

Enjoy this piece of curiosa. A tune more technically "odd" would be hard to find. ;)
