I re-did this Jim Croce classic, "Time In A Bottle".  I changed the arrangement a little.  However, I totally changed the instrumentation.  No guitar at all, I did an electric piano and strings.

Time In A Bottle

First new track in 3 months after taking the summer off.  It's a blend of country, pop , a pinch of blues in the vocal and a wee bit of rock mixed in for good measure.  So, to put it into a genre, I'd say modern country.  I also got very loose on the vocal and just went with what felt right.  Feel free to share the track around if you like what you hear.

Cover of a Brian Setzer / Stray Cats track.  Just guitar and a vocal.  Enjoyed singing this one.  To be honest the guitar part is no where near Brian's  playing, but it works.   : )

Please Come Home For Christmas

This is the first new track for 2016.  It's a very, very old school pop track.  Think early 60's.  The song was written that way in musical choices and style.  Also, recorded it a little different to give it an older sound.

Things Have Changed

My first track back after taking the past 5 months off to recover from my bypass surgery.  It has a lot of my old vibe to it, especially in the writing.  Musically it's a bit different here and there.  A more active bass line and some really amped up leads ( the tonal quality)  It felt very strange to record again, but I did miss it.  So, now that I got my feet wet again, onto new material.  Hope at least a few of you like the new song.
