Summer, if we can even call it that, was totally unexpected, frustrating, and in some cases devastating for many people across NZ. I personally know that the music scene took a big hit; parties postponed, cancelled, or cut short... DJs, promoters & event staff losing income, and punters missing out on much anticipated & needed experiences. 

I recorded this mix to release some energy, share some gems, and get in the groove that I didn't get to over the last couple of months. 

The set wasn't planned out, but still (I hope!) captures the sound and vibe I wanted it to: high energy, rolling, grooving, percussive, deep, minimal and yet big at the same time...

After hours of wonderment and lucious audio and visual experience I wondered into the hot sweaty boiler room where I got to play these tunes. It sounded pretty much identical to this ... live raw recording.  I had sooo much fun, If you listen you might do tooo....

MissB played her first DJ set on a bright yellow and black double cassette deck in 1989. 
Since upgrading her technology and mixing skills, she has played at AUM, Brazen, Burning Man, The Lucky Star, Gardens Festival, Kiwiburn, Ponderosa Ranch, Relish, Rhythm and Alps, Shipwrecked, Splore, Synthony, Taniwhas Den and WaipuPaLooza.

MissB has opened for Basement Jaxx, LP Giobbi, Crazy P, Dr Packer, Pitch Black and Greg Churchill, but a cyclone stopped her opening for Fatboy Slim. 

MIssB loves how music inspires and connects people to create supportive communities. 

MissB released her first EP, The Temple in 2021.
Her remixes of tracks by The Dastardly Bounder/ Flying Mojito Brothers, cusp, Max Maxwell, Martyn Martyniuk, Kennedy, and House of Downtown have been released on paperecordings,  
Sun Explosion Records, unReliable Recordings, Broken Dawn Records, Deep & Under and Hot Jandal Music with more due for release in 2023.
MissB combines her love of classical music and the acid synths of her youth with quirky percussive and vocal elements.
