After launching their own De Stijl label last year, Artefakt are back on Delsin with Icarus, a sparkling new four track outing. The Dutch live-act and DJ duo formed by Robin Koek and Nick Lapien put out their Kinship LP on the label in 2017, picked up real acclaim for their intricate sound design and deep yet hard hitting grooves. Always serving up atmospheric music that is artful and filled with rich detail, they continued on their own path once again here.

Starting with the smooth and hypnotic, stripped back grooves from Icarus. Followed by the cavernous and immersive ambient trip Ganzfeld Effect. The darker Vapour is still heady and meticulously crafted with deft little details, a rich sound field and supple techno drums getting you in the zone. Delphic then offers crisp breakbeats, dubby drums and electrically charged synths that are physical but emotional. It's another perfect fusion of light and dark, thoughtful and physical techno from this ever impressive pair.

Mix #053 in the series comes Polish born, UK-based Dj and producer - X-Truder.


Known for his powerful broken beats, dark basslines and high amount of distortion, it has seen X-Truder release on labels such as Abseits Recordings, Crobot Muzik, Urban Connections, BATTERY’PARK’STUDIO.

New tales have made their way through hardships, expecting to be told by PSANG on a fresh split tape. Two machine worshippers have been gathered for the occasion : on the A side, Discothèque Sauvage delivers a triptych of idm-ish electro titles, tinged with deep rhythmic melodies. B side takes us off the electro land for a perfect rest on the edges of uf0’s complex mind.

Next up is local @543ff. Hailing from the Dutch west coast his sound normally is filled with smashing breakbeats, distorting electro, and cybernated vibes. Known for his notorious radioshows at @redlightradio. His release on @diffusereality and his additions to the @onderwereld EP on @cultivated-electronics left us speechless. However, his addition to our podcast series is a side of him we didn’t know, he created a special self-produced ambient set from his home studio. Tapping into the endless creative flows of his musical imagination. The podcast takes you on a journey to the beyond and further. Tune in, and zone out. Enjoy!
