Join Metropolitan Soul Museum for the grand opening of the Kulture Galerie release series in 2022.

Kulture Galerie is London-based duo Metropolitan Soul Museum's mix series, live every 2 months on Radio. The show's concept is to give an opportunity to the artists invited to select non-club / home listening music where a variety of influences and cultures and different dichotomies of the same form of expression. The various artists releases that will follow each year, will include 6 original tracks from the 6 artists involved in the shows.

'Kulture Galerie Year 1', out on a limited number of CDs distributed by Lobster Distribution and mastered by Nerang and Gestalt's Nørus, includes 6 non genre specific tracks from the first 6 guests: MSM's partner in crime Herzel (Hivern Discs, Uncanny Valley), Echocentric Records's boss Timo Deeprhythms, prolific US producer Aspetuck, Lyssna Records' main man Adam Stromstedt, Regelbau's affiliate K-Dallas under his Exo Ghost moniker and finally an original track from Metropolitan Soul Museum.

Metropolitan Soul Museum are proud to host on their next Kulture Galerie show on Milan's Radio Raheem a Detroit and Global legend: John Beltran. His early work on Carl Craig's seminal Retroactive imprint sculpted a Detroit classic with hints of Derrick May, world music, and Jazz vibrations. He followed up in 1996 on Peacefrog with arguably one of the most sought after techno classics "Ten Days of Blue," which is still John's most successfully licensed music with songs like "Collage of Dreams" being used in the Miramax film Human Traffic and the HBO hit Six Feet Under.  

The London based duo is a huge fan of John's music and can not wait to share what he has in store for Kulture Galerie, both as a mix series and as a label....

For the 15th instalment of the Kulture Galerie series we are hosting Berlin based and US born natebytheway. This incredible under the radar talent will soon join our label’s roster with some super fresh productions. For his first Radio Raheem show he delivers a soft and warm mix of some soul, hip hop and boom bap tunes to help get ya in the mood. We hope you enjoy listening to his selection for KG.

Kulture Galerie 015 - natebytheway [Radio Raheem]

The first digital-only release on Kulture Galerie is ‘NFTs 999’: 4 tracks from 4 super fresh talents, ready to craft the sound of the label and pave the way for more music to follow.

The EP opens up with Berlin based natebytheway's '1059 to Btwon', a real wonky chugger. UK rising start Duncan Thomas follows with 'Lovelace Street', just the right mix of prog sounds, acid basslines and hypnotic synths! Swedish IDM master Undsidedly offers us the brainy 'Scorch' - an Electro melancholic track driven by beautifully programmed drums. Finally Ireland's Jack Ward offers up a romantic and groovy cut, 'Anything Can Burst an Aquarius Heart': a true testament to Jack's affinity for dreamy melodies and stomping kick drums.
