Here is a 3 hrs 20 min recording of a 4,5 hour set my Sangoma Records labelpartner Emiel and i played in Poland at Summer Contrast Festival! in August 2018. Unfortunately the recorder couldn't grab the whole set but this should be enough to give you a proper insight of what we have in our musical medicine bags! Keep an eye out for our next compilation coming this winter -  part 2 of our Sangoma Soundsystem series!

Tegan began DJing professionally in 2012, after being so inspired by the dark psy-trance at Freedom festival in Portugal.

The music she plays is described as dark, forest with filthy, twisted, bouncy baselines! Musical tastes include White Zombie, Nirvana and Die Antwoord.

Tegan has played at festivals and parties across the UK and in 2012 became resident DJ for Tribal Sphere Birmingham. In 2013 Tegan toured South East Asia, Australia and India. Playing at bush parties in NSW and the infamous ‘Curly’s’ on Anjuna beach.

The highlight of Toxic Tegan’s trip was to headline the main dance stage at MTV’s RAGASTHAN 2013 festival in the Jaisalmer dessert, India.

Tegan has had the opportunity to play for Soma in London at top events like Elixir of Life and Psynon/Parvati appearing on the line up with some of Psy-trance’s most respected artists.

The music she plays has been described as having high energy, relentless beats and the trance floor is always heaving!!

Emiel is a multifaceted psychedelic artist and DJ since the end of the 1990s and runs the label Sangoma Records together with Daksinamurti since 2011. The former fine arts graduate is based in Doha, Qatar, where he puts his constant effort to create art and music releases. The results are the various compilations as well as many of Sangoma’s artwork and branding. His love for details and aesthetics reflect in the numerous music release cover art, posters, flyers for events and festivals, logos, and other designs he created. Although Emiel has never been a fan of fame and decided to step out of the limelight of today’s social media urge of like-hunting and self-promotion - he has been constantly working within the scene. His love for psychedelic music and culture brought him to various events and festivals around the globe. Emiel’s ever-evolving taste in music is extensive and he is always looking for fresh ideas and maturing into a deeper and more complex space.

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia.

Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep, and trippy signature sound. After releases on labels such as Namaste Records, Sonica Recordings, and Sangoma. In 2018, they launched their debut EP Disjointed on Sangoma Records.
