Finnegans Wake

This is a mix from DJ Nuts, one of the premier collectors of Brazilian music. The mix is dedicated to producer/arranger/composer Arthur Verocai, a man who’s talents transpired across Brazilian music through the 60′s and 70′s and culminated on his self titled debut from 1972, a record I believe to be one of the best Brazil has to offer. The mix digs deep into Verocai’s catalog of records that he’s been a part of.  The tracklist was decoded on Soul Strut.

Actors including James Franco, Ruth Wilson, Gabriel Byrne, Maxine Peake, Jeremy Irons, Kelly Macdonald and Michael Sheen read a series of 20 original poems on the theme of climate change, curated by UK poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
