In advance of her upcoming album “Polymnia”, Jenny Lindfors (aka Sailing Stones), like many artists, realized she’d be unable to embark on her scheduled UK tour in May 2020. Working with what she had, she recorded and filmed a live performance of her latest track “Emmanuel” at home.

Given the circumstances, and subject matter of the song, it felt right to include the angelic voices of some friends that she missed. On sending out an email to a few friends, she was delighted to discover that they were up for being a part of her distant choir. They emailed over their parts from distances ranging from as far as two streets to 10,000 miles away. Singers include Jess Kav (Barq), Daisy Palmer (Paloma Faith, Rae Morris), Hazel Mills (Florence and The Machine) and Welsh singer-songwriter Jodie Marie.
