Created around the same time as Rennie's infamous "Devil's Water", this melancholy 4 tracker comes off dark and seductive. With elements of gothic sensibility and an introspective, even lonely, atmosphere, Mr.Foster brings the soul music for the damned, once again. Includes the cult favourite, "Vital Organ" with it's classic deep house touch, the hypnotic Detroit strings of "Deus Ex Machina" and the lost and demonic beauty of "Demon's Muse". The jewel of the EP just might be "Invoke" though, a witchy, dubby, techno ritual that the whole coven can enjoy.

One of my first pieces, which I did in an incredibly hard winter in Berlin. In this version the female vocals are used rather discreetly and leave more room for the pushing bass. 

I dedicate it to the city I often have to think about and where I could learn a lot about relationships, friendship, love and music. Thanks to all who accompanied and inspired me then and now.
