Hats off for Smirnoff for not only putting its money where its mouth is, but being genuinely interested in the awareness and importance of diversity.  For the ad’s soundtrack, I recreated the iconic song ‘Stars' by Sylvester feat Sam Sparro and this “Cosmic Energy Dub” is one for the DJs who continue to make nightlife such an inclusive space. On the closing track of The Life of Pablo, Yeezy gave a nod to the house roots of his home city of Chicago by sampling that infectious bass line from Larry Heard's Mystery of Love. Accompanied by other tastefully chopped samples of classic house tracks, the basis of Fade was born.

I took the original dub of Mystery of Love, chopped it up and cut in samples that Kanye used in Fade to hopefully turn a few heads when DJing.
