With fabric 72, rhadoo follows his Romanian compatriot and [a:rpia:r] cohort Petre Inspirescu onto the fabric mix series, with an intoxicating, atmospheric aural excursion. The vast majority of the tracks are unreleased and unheard before this project, representing a new and burgeoning scene in Eastern Europe. Letting the music do the talking as usual,  rhadoo has personally selected 4 tracks from the mix to press exclusively to a pair of limited edition vinyl 10”s.

On the first disc, Adrian Niculae’s mechanical ‘conTRASt’ juxtaposes nagging metallic sounds with a rumbling low end, whilst on the reverse Yourayo’s more organic ‘Blueprint’ features warm synths, a melancholic piano refrain and a rounded bassline.

The second sampler sees ‘Fast Lane 4’ by Traian Chereches live up to its name, the clever weaving of elements maintaining urgency throughout, and Vlad Caia’s ‘Ticktockclockityclock’ closes out the selection with a suitably metronomic groove.

All tracks are exclusive to this pair of vinyl 10”s, which are strictly limited to 300 copies each, and the fabric 72 release. All Inn Records are known for their fantastic label showcases. A highlight of the year took place in one of Moscow's most intimate of clubs; Rodnya. Set in a loft, on the top floor of a former industrial building, you can feel a special party vibe in the following mix, recorded and played by label co-manager, DJ and producer, Giovanni Verrina. Starting off nicely with an atmospheric mood, Verrina keeps the dance floor moving with his tech-house grooves. Classy vocals speak over low-key funky tones while in the deep end, pumping bass lines join forces with rapturous percussive elements. A journey that will take you places. Set description: Starting off with a very subtle breakbeat style track, the set evolves into a spaced-out, spherical journey through the landscape of minimalistic Romanian house music. In the time before the set was recorded, I visited some local record stores in Germany, digging through a lot of very interesting music. After visiting Prague for a week, I came back with lots of new records in my bag and new ideas and experiences in my head. The last place I've visited was GRAM Records in Prague - the drawing by my lovely girlfriend shows the inside of this beautiful place. Listening to my podcast "Romania" on the way home, I decided to record a ro-minimal podcast again. I hope you enjoy the story and the music showcased in this podcast!

About yourself: "Hey, my name is Tobias and I am living in Hannover, which is in the northern part of Germany. When I am not hosting parties, working at festivals or DJ in the local club scene, I try to finish my PhD in mechanical engineering... As the artist Jon Borno, I mainly play a variety of minimalistic, deep and spherical house music, but also use to play some beats and old-school hip hop, as well as minimal techno – from time to time I also dig into old-school house music and funky stuff. The music scene evolving around minimalistic music isn't too big in Hannover, but I always try to find those parties and locations where people really enjoy those minimal journeys. Since I am working on my computer most of the time, I love to play on a physical format. Since I started spinning electronic music, I have collected more than 1200 records and always keep digging for new, interesting and unexpected music and also artists. Building up my sets I always look for a story to tell to the audience, while using subtle transitions and smooth changes of vibe."

Right from the start Papilla's set creates a mystical atmosphere. Are these sirens? (Mis)leading us into the open sea, or just another adventure? Or those the sweet voices of our sisters, calling from the shore to welcome us home. There is something familiar in his sound, as much as a raw uncertainty.

Vito, the person behind @papillaminimal , is no less enigmatic. Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, he has been involved with music all his life, before he concentrated on electronic music, and more precise minimal grooves. His productions seem effortless and confident. A state of mind he tries to make accessible for more underground producers and newcomers through his label @podvodo . He concentrates, as he says, on creating spaces in which they are able to express themselves creatively.
