In their quest for comfort, humans have used different methods, which all too often have been cruel . Behaving in ways that inflict harm to others, just for their own selfish gain. In the end, such actions bring suffering to oneself as well as to others. We must have the proper perspective, that of the universal life process, so that the actions which glorify one person or one group are not sought at the expense of others.

All this calls for a new approach to life. The world is becoming smaller as a result of the fast technological advances, as well as the increasing global relationships. We depend very much on each other. we are so closely connected with each other, that without a sense of responsibility, a feeling of brotherhood, an understanding and belief that we really are part of one big family, we cannot hope to overcome the dangers to our own very existence..
