Originally this was an instrumental that I had planned to use for myself. However, Emma Holzer's Queen fit perfectly since both songs were in a similar key.

This song was made during the early months of 2018. It came during a time where I wanted to return to music, but I kept thinking that I already had a good run. I realize that I don't want my run to be over with. I may have struggled previously with who I was and where I wanted to be, but I feel like this track solidified who I am.

Matt, also known for previous projects such as Raiding The Crimson Tides, System X, OhSnap!, and StitchMeShut, started making music as early as 10 years old. He didn't start rapping until teenage years when he discovered that he wanted to adopt the name "System X". While under System X, he released four mixtapes (Crunk X, Cookie Monster, Police Brutality, and Underdog Mixtape).  During this time period, he also completed a couple albums titled StitchMeShut EP and Crunkcore Is Dead. Eventually "System X" changed to "Matick" for future distribution reasons, but the venture became a failed effort.

Now Matt is officially back awaiting for the perfect time to sprout his new music. He has said that he limited his potential with other projects, but was going to fully embrace all of his talents to broaden his music.
