Returning to MTA Records this September, the hotly-tipped Josh Butler delivers a 2 track release of robust House to follow up on his acclaimed 'Got A Feeling' from earlier this year.

With a recent remix of MTA founders, Chase & Status, latest single currently doing damage across dance floors, and a string of key DJ dates which include Secret Garden Party, Gottwood and SubSoul (Ibiza), 'Closer' drops in the midst of a busy summer for the rising Leeds based artist.

'Closer' sees Butler explore a driving house aesthetic built around an infectious groove that stems from on-point drum programming and well balanced sonics. Techy in approach but retaining a melodic edge thanks to a subtly pitched male vocal, 'Closer' is ammunition for DJs across the House spectrum. 

An artist at the forefront House Music's new wave, who already counts Maya Jane Coles, Pete Tong, B.Traits, Annie Mac, Mistajam and Waze & Odyssey as fans, Josh Butler's rise is set to continue.

'Weiss City Vol 1' showcases this producers vast talent by embracing house music's rich heritage with deep jacking grooves, warm rumbling subs, sweet sharp percussion and delicate vocal treatment. Leading the EP. 'You Treat Me Right' sets the tone with an infectious guitar lick and impassioned vocals on top of a driving but deep bass line. 'Do The Do' is straight up organ house, with an unforgettable melody, vocal cut and sharp percussion. Next up, Weiss delivers the funk with 'My Sister'; one of those tracks you'll have on repeat for weeks on end, the groove is unrivalled on this one! 6th July 2018 sees house music stars Junior Jack and Tube & Berger team up to deliver an impressive update to one of dance musics all-time much loved anthems, E Samba 2018. Originally released in 2003, E Samba took clubland by storm, it was THE summer hit of that year and became a certified house classic. Fast forward 15 years and now Germanys sought after DJ/producer duo Tube & Berger have put their own unique stamp on track by bringing it bang up-to-date with their trademark production techniques whilst maintaining the beloved essence of the original - the perfect summer anthem all over again!Tube & Berger explain: In our early raving days we were huge fans of Junior Jack and always thought of remixing E Samba. But, being completely unknown and lacking studio skills we didn't even asked for it. A couple of years and a few Beatport hits later we met Vito at Ibiza airport, took a selfie with him and Berger asked him if he was up for a collaboration. He loved the idea but again it took some time to send a rough demo of our E Samba interpretation. From that moment on, all three of us kept sending ideas to each other and testing them at clubs and festivals. It got better and better and here we are...
