As is evident from XYZ’s latest project, the Sun Kissed Computer EP, the two artistic metropolises show no sign of slowing down.

Leading the line as the A-side is a timeless groover. Wassu and Adisyn waste no time in catching the ear with a tune at the centerpoint of melodic and minimal house. An easy-flowing riser, Sun Kissed Computer harnesses characteristics of old-school house music that have proven irresistible through the years. Sharp percussive riffs and sturdy drums never relent, as verby melodics ebb and flow to create lush tension and satisfying release. Simply summarized... a dancefloor bomb.

Eritrean-American DJ, producer an all-around creative Eden Hagos brings visibility to those future sounds that you can’t quite put your genre finger on. Deeply rooted in underground hip-hop, sample-based, percussion-heavy tunes, and future bass, Eden’s ear for unique sounds has kept her digging since her uncle gave her her first Fugees album at age 16.

Eden has dropped 20 mix-tapes - the third installation, "Currently", caught the attention of OkayPlayer deeming the young beatstress "a prophet of future sounds". The beat scene and local producers started listening and partnerships with artists, labels, and connectors in the community became plentiful.

Miss Hagos’ love for creative culture has led to opportunities to perform at underground clubs, international festivals, and celebrity and fashion events alike. She has opened for Snakehips, Anderson. Paak, Jmsn, Syd tha Kid, Tokimonsta, Sango, and Goldlink to name a few.

Eden is poised to bring light to the beat makers in this movement while uncovering and educating folks along the way of all of the genres that exist within these future sounds.

As with every previous event, we will be holding back the big special guest performer, but rest assured that their profile is equal to all of our past unannounced guests. The rest of the night will be taken care of by our MTA Records artists on rotation at each event.

Chosen for its small, intimate vibe with a huge Martin Audio sound system, The Nest is a perfect location to see artists in a setting rarely experienced outside the big clubs and festivals.
