Chidera Ibeh, known professionally as Mt Boi, is a 28 year old international Afrobeats artist from Enugu State / Lagos, Nigeria. He creates in his own style of world music which combines Afrobeats with AfroPop along with a variety of other genres. Coming from a place of little resources, producing music in Nigeria can be very difficult but Mt Boi has finally managed to create his debut album “Pop Star” after being signed to Zobe Records. Now he is ready to share his passion for music, style, and fashion with the world as this is just the beginning of his journey. Mt Boi looks forward to creating music that will touch and inspire as many people as possible. Response from his debut album was so great that he created a remix single to the song “4 You” from the album which received vast recognition worldwide.

Mt Boi has been on the iTunes South Africa Top 100 Songs Chart, the DRT Global Top 50 R&B/HIP-HOP Airplay Chart, the DRT Global Top 200 Airplay Chart and the DRT Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart. Mt Boi won “Best International Artist” at the 2022 Music And Movie Awards (MAMAs). Mt Boi won “Outstanding Achievement” (Silver Metal) at the 2022 Global Music Awards. Mt Boi was officially nominated for the 2023 Hollywood Independent Music Awards “4 You” (Afro-Beat/Afro-Pop). Mt Boi won the 2023 Inter-Continental Music Awards. Mt Boi was also officially nominated for the 2023 Music And Movie Awards (MAMAs). Mt Boi is promoting his follow-up album “Emotional” and he is now working on new songs/projects, performing his music live, touring, and taking interviews while expanding his fan-base.
