Talented Colombian music producer and DJ, Juan Pablo, known in the electronic scene as "Kpra", is preparing to release his latest work, an EP titled "Moon Format". Scheduled for release on November 03, 2023, "Moon Format" is a tribute to the vibrant and energetic classic house of the 90's, where the use of synthesizers was at its peak.

Inspired by the golden era of electronic music, "Moon Format" highlights ample leads, sequenced synths, funky basses with signature dub effects and progressive percussion, all with the distinctive sound of the Roland TR-909. This EP brings a modern twist to the classic aesthetic, creating a unique listening experience that will resonate with house lovers of all ages.

Kpra, with a solid 8-year career in the electronic music scene, is recognized for his unique musical style that fuses deep melodies, acid elements and powerful, progressive breaks. His artistic versatility has led him to experiment with a variety of musical genres, including electro, Latin club, ghetto tech and hardgroove techno, resulting in a diverse and energetic sound that sets him apart in the scene.

In his sets, Kpra has stood out for his ability to mix genres and sounds in a fluid and creative way, offering unique and exciting club experiences that adapt to the environment and the audience. He has performed in several cities and events in Colombia, bringing his music to new audiences while maintaining his musical roots.

Rhythm Cult is back again as last summer hit ‘PPPPP’ from youANDme gets a second special package of reworkings from a band of meticulously selected remixers from around the globe. This time we welcome the likes of Shed (50 Weapons, Ostgut Ton) and Johannes Albert (Live At Robert Johnson, Renate Schallplatten) to the Cult to provide exciting new iterations breathing their unique spirit into an already memorable track.

First up to the platter is raw techno purveyor Shed in his Head High guise, who serves up a faithful but turbo-charged rework. The original’s ludicrously addictive vocal refrain returns, orbiting endlessly across the soundscape while the drums get serious steroid enhancement creating a weighty groove that hits hard. One of Rhythm Cults' favourite house producers Ian Pooley comes next, returning to deliver a sublime raw house re-take as only he knows how. Filtering and manipulating the vocal cuts and old-school stabs, he creates a bumping excursion into the cavernous depths, complete with lush echoing dub chords and jackin’ percussion. One for the house heads and as always, dancefloor dynamite. The Drunken Diva ‘Scream Mix’ shifts down through the gears to create an almost lilting, off-kilter dub-influenced iteration. Perfect for those hot late-night summer dancefloor moments, this cut takes it deep and dark. Finally, Berliner Johannes Albert swoops in to direct the track into a crunchy minimal 808 territory. His rework is complemented by some slick vocal chopping and frequency-shifted segments elevating the track to a new plateau.

Another fine series of remixes ensures ‘PPPPP’ will be lighting up dancefloors this summer season and beyond. Rhythm Cult continues its mission to showcase some of the most talented and forward-thinking producers out there.

Born and raised in the sunny hills of Luberon, in the south of France, Immersif knows exactly how to get hearts beating to the beat of his music. Already recognisable on the house scene, he comes to Sengiley Recordingas his four-track multi-genre release - The Creative Act EP. It's a true creative act that makes you immerse yourself in a world of sounds and emotions.

The Creative Act talks about the process of artistic creation : how we digest how our inspirations to give life to something new and personal, and the contrast between all the self-doubtness and the "strokes-of-genius-feelings" that reach us when we're making music.

Belvedere 707 - was made just after a digging journey trough the late 2010's lo-fi house era, and the chicago deep house scene from the late 90's / early 2000's. The result is a tribute track melting this two differents but very similar eras of the deep house spectrum, united by a melancholic spirit and a minimalistic approach.

Winter in a seaside resort - as indicated by his name, i have produced this track coming back from a winter holiday break along the mediterranean french coast, in the peaceful town of "Le Grau-du-Roi", totally deserted at this period. I was driving at sunset through the empties palm trees alleys, fascinated by the strong nostalgic feeling emerging from this scenery. The result is a melancholic track, with breaky drums, dubby stabs and g-funk synths, all that through my mind when i was thinking about this memories.

Are You Still Watching - is a story-telling track, no genres, no pre-defined schemas, just tryin to musically represent some memories, the most difficult but also the funniest exercise.

Caustics, formed as an outlet for our group of artists working with experimental sound, the label has secretly evolved as a platform for art projects and a physical space where many of us live.
We always want to articulate what we are doing. Our organization started as a common label, but along the way we began to notice that it was irrelevant, the music industry had become too institutionalized and corporate for us to prosper and maintain our model, and we did not want to be another collective party. Labels are getting a lot less strong as cults in an age where everything has to be chewed to be consumed, People Mover is all about that; creating an information ephemera is not a final product.
