From its highest penthouses to its lowest sewers, this city is full of tales and danger, wired wonders and virtual nightmares, endless alleys with treasures or doom, all in the ever-raining city of Neo-Bogotá.

Soaked in heavily rooted Latin sound with all the futuristic old-school breakbeat, techno, trance madness from Neo-Bogotá streets, it’s memories from a brighter past melted with the voice & soul of the machine, the sounds of the very future served in a 10-second ultra-fast meal under a slowly dying sign in the middle of the sweet metal coldness of the night.

KXK, a fabulous Colombian artist based in Bogotá, delivers this heavy-wired release amazingly wrapped up with a unique, lovely blended sound, gathering out-of-the-world layers, arrangements, samples & various cultural, local, autochthonous references from Colombia and the rest of Latin America, all virtuously mixed together.

Years passed and when I finally got in touch with techno beats and electronic stuff, I first rejected those songs that made me sing and dance in public for the firts time; but now, I really miss those hot days in summer getting skin on skin with other girls and boys and just getting wasted for fun. This set was created with those memories in mind as reggaeton, funk, guaracha, trap and dembow composed the OST of those times, but with a little touch of club music, darkness and a big sound and production update to make people of this very present dance as we used to." - Hunk Now
