Mt. Saint Michel is an independent dj/producer , who's been releasing his music since 2019. His releases are inspired by artists such as Burial, Aphex Twin and hardcore jungle producers from the nineties. 
His first album "Near Death"  was first released in 2021, then with slight chances in 2022. 
This album marked the beginning of an artistic journey - that his next album releasing this summer- is looking to complete. His other works contain an ambient ep and jungle mixtapes.
Overall, MSM's sound conveys introspective, bittersweet emotion, looking to find people in need of reassurance and emotional safety.

Due to a recent law in Hungary, made to limit the right of assembly, amongst other minorities, the LGBTQ community and Budapest Pride face uncertain times.
The only answer to this, is to unite and let our voices be heard.
We need to safeguard queer spaces.

Electronic music has always been a safe space for the queer community, so Marmint is launching a compilation in solidarity with Budapest Pride on the 28th of June, 2025.
The digital release is going to be accessible on Soundcloud, Nina Protocol, Bandcamp and other streaming services.

Admittedly, the extract from the still belies the line in this week's @naviar-records haiku poem challenge. The actual line is "half-asleep eyes", but we'll go with what's in the image. This week I've been collaging splice sounds and playing them live in Ableton, then drastically re-editing. I wanted to mix up how I'm making music. Break habits and form new.

Natsume Seibi (1749-1816) was the son of a wealthy Edo rice broker and was acquainted with a number of other famous poets, including Oshima Ryota and Kobayashi Issa. In addition to his poetry, Seibi left behind a number of fine examples of haikai prose.

Ukiyo, the floating world of pleasure, specifically referred to the pleasure quarters with its various beautiful women (hana, literally ‘blossoms’) as well as to popular theatre and street spectacles.
