Impressions in Light

Gegenstadt

Es gibt da einen Bahnhof 
von dem jeder Zug nach Norden fährt.
Mutter ist mal in einen gestiegen 
als sie die Wange ans Glas drückte
sah man alle ihre Zähne

Es gibt da ein Haus 
wo jede Treppe abwärts führt.
Vater ist mal auf einer gestolpert
brach sich einen Knochen im Hals 
seitdem spricht er rückwärts

Es gibt da eine Straße
wie ein verschorftes Knie.
Der kleine Bruder läuft immer 
das Kopfsteinpflaster entlang

Manchmal wacht sie auf  
in der anderen Stadt und 
sieht ihr Kindergesicht 
hinter allen Türen

There is a station
from which each train goes north.
Mother got in once
when she pressed her cheek against the glass
you could see all her teeth

There is a house
where every staircase leads below.
Father took a tumble once
and broke a bone in his throat 
since then he's speaking backwards

There is an alley
like a crusted knee.
Little brother always runs 
along the cobblestones

When she wakes sometimes
in the other town
she sees her childface
behind all doors

What synchronicity! A bell-related project and two ring modulators in the house. ---> A drone-bell extravaganza, with bonus ringmod bass. Clean version.
