Nightdrive

I found at a thrift store this homemade CD-R.  It's a mixture of covers and originals by a band that is really, earnestly trying.  It's sincerity is captivating, even as they don't quite hit all the notes or had access to the expensive studio time and gear that made these songs the 90's alternative rock radio hits they covered.  This is what you would hear in the in bars during the 90's in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania.  I know nothing about this band, and the handwritten credits list only Andy, Kevin, Brian, Jeremy, and Brandon as who is in 5 Gauge.  Whoever and wherever they are, I want them to know that the day I bought this CD, I went for a drive through the mountains with the windows rolled down.  It was fun.
