Core-member of the collective Daytimers, @user-500557389 has enjoyed a meteoric rise in 2021, with her debut podcast, club set, festival appearance, international booking and vinyl release all coming in the past year.

With her background originating in classical music and jazz, Riva fell under the spell of electronic music whilst growing up in the Middle East. From there, her taste and appreciation for music became borderless and eclectic, drawing inspiration from her British-Indian background and experiences of living in Hong Kong and South Africa. Her music does not hinge on one genre as Riva sees music as a form of storytelling and protest, and thus is always on the hunt for rhythms that can spread a message, unify and emancipate the listener on the dancefloor. 

Aside from her own music, Riva has been constantly championing other South Asian artistry through her role with Daytimers - who themselves enjoyed a breakthrough year - and being part of the organising team of the highly successful debut festival, Dialled In. She also brought together Daytimers and Big Dyke Energy to release the charity compilation ‘Celebrating Pride: For the Community, By the Community’ to raise money for several LGBTQI+ organisations.

With lots of releases on labels like Pulzar, Open Music Lab and many more, as well as her recently founded own imprint "Twisting Knobs Records" she's definitely one to look out for and we're very happy to have her on the podcast! Lean back and enjoy the sounds, described by her as "a mixture of jazz, breaks, dub and left field ass with some dreamy components. i really wanted to do the thing as Minor Science in his track "Blue Deal" but for a whole set. The last slot of our February roster is brought to you courtesy of this Cologne-based team-up; they strayed away from their usual repertoire for an atmospheric and bouncy progressive house mix dipped in acid. The two recently discovered this love together, showcasing it in several b2b’s already, and are thrilled to give us a taste of their medicine

Måtyrer, with his roots in techno, runs a true institution of techno nights in Cologne with Brutalism inviting household names such as Sataoc Mass, DJ Pete, Voiski & Nene H while also branching out to venues like Tresor.West. 
Philo proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push the boundaries of a genre. With national and international recognition, her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid in the pursuit of the best possible sound. Being a regular on UK lineups, characteristics of her eclectic selection naturally involve rough UK bass, which is somewhere between breakbeat, 4 to the floor, dubby bass bin jungle, and footwork, with a splash of classic 90s as well as progressive house according to the maxim "keep moving forward“! 
Not long ago she started producing and released some of her work on Headlight Records, Nice & Deadly, nonesuch, Stereo45, Defrostatica, and Miura Records- with more on the way.
In 2021, together with Marie Montexier, Aino DJ, and No:elia, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne and in general.  She also hosts her monthly radio show on jungletrain.net inviting artists like Denham Audio, Coco Bryce, Rassan, Amy Dabbs & plenty of others, so be sure to check that out but of course not before you caught the undeniable vibes on DUSK255.

A highly-regarded talent established at the forefront of Tokyo's vibrant underground club scene, mu"he has built an unquestionable reputation as a multi-genre DJ with the versatility to both build up a room and command the peak hours of a rave. Balancing introspective selections with outbursts of collective jouissance, there is careful intentionality behind her mixing philosophy rooted in the history of communal dancefloor experience. Based in Berlin since May 2023, mu”he has been quickly booking appearances at some of Berlin’s best clubs and festivals across Europe–most notably: TILL THE LAST organized by Lunchmeatfestival in Prague, Whole Festival, Berlin Atonal in Berlin, Jera on Air in the Netherlands, and an array of Berlin clubs including ://about blank, OXI, and Tresor. 

Building upon a background collecting leftfield and experimental records as a teenager, mu"he's style draws from an uncompromising palette of the harder-edged side of dance music. With a range encompassing styles from techno and trance to hardcore, jungle, and footwork, mu"he deftly weaves across the BPM spectrum, unafraid to intersperse tough physical grooves with moments of dancefloor euphoria. This aesthetic found a home at renowned Tokyo club Vent, where mu"he founded the eclectic FUSION party in 2019. FUSION proved to be a disruptive influence on a stagnating Tokyo techno scene, with the VENT resident curating progressive and varied line-ups featuring a forward-thinking generation of fresh local talent. An influence that can still be felt today, as Tokyo’s underground scene continues to blossom in unexpected directions, with the new school leading the charge. 

mu"he's crate digger background shines in energetic, diverse recordings brimming with both forgotten rave classics and undiscovered gems fresh from the far-flung corners of Bandcamp. Her keen ear and swelteringly effusive mixing style has made her an in-demand talent for international podcasts and radio shows. A breakout year for mu"he, 2020 saw her release a prolific number of podcasts, guesting on venerable outlets like Rinse FM, Ilian Tape, Voitax and HÖR among many others. Her boundary-pushing selections and intensely fun performances have earned her a dedicated following beyond Tokyo.
