"I wrote this album as a beckon to a new life, new beginnings, new carrer's, etc. I have always dealt with depression from childhood trauma and this album represents the love I have gained for myself, and the physical world. I truly believe we can all FLOURISH if we set our minds to change and love. I love concepts of duality, and mixing electronic music with WORLD vocals hits just a right spot for me. It takes us into the future but also maintains the structure, history, and knowledge of the past."

This Piece inspires magical, majestic, cinematic, therapeutic, downtempo, harmonic and heavy experiences. On the edge between wanting to dance and wanting to move gracefully, Mubalu brings a mystical energy to this album. 

"Everyday, I am inspired by our consciousness, the harmonious acts of animals and plants. The way the ocean breathes, the way the earth has cycles. For us as humans, its simply amazing that we have the capacity for using language, we can generate infinite realities just by choosing which words we use and the order in which we use them. 

"Music is a language as well, It communicates ideas and concepts. Some of these transposed emotions and feelings, in my opinion, are hardly able to be talked about and thus is hard to formulate what the song sounds like. Its hard to write down the feeling of being loved once in your past but not having the love now but feeling optimistic about life. They are very specific, and that specificity is very personal to the listener. 

The entire process is quite amazing and empowering.

Waking-Up (FT. Alan Watts)

Coming from musical backgrounds, Mubalu (Cameron Kuykendall) was surrounded by 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's rock and jazz growing up. He received his first personal tape from his grandfather by the Beatles, Sgt. Peppers when he was young. Cameron began to become involved and evolved with the love of soul and rnb and jazz, specifically for the passion for the music which is, "obvious when you hear it".

Surrounded by acoustic guitars and friends, Cameron began playing and covering songs with his friends from West Coast Oregon, which is the base of why music was important, friendships and new connections.

He picked up FL studios when he was 14, making simple beats, learning the art and adventuring into the land of sound design and song composition.

"I watched a lot of adult swim in high school, and they play with 1-2 minute songs that have some artistic visualization with them and it really made fall in love with these crazy, creative, trippy, timeless songs, I found so many bands through the station too."

Cameron went to college for Psychology for a couple years and made music on the side, he realized that the only way he wanted his life to be was to make music. He bought midi pads, monitors, and audio interfaces, and began to take the art more seriously.

" I really respect the fuck out of these artist's nowadays, there is so much beautiful music and beautiful works out there, and to be a part of that community is something I won't stop working towards."
