This song is equivalent to that little light you see while you've been in huge hole for long. It is dark yet the purpose is to ignite your spirit and enlighten your vision. My vision was disturbed for a while until I came across a very lonely time of my life where friends were nowhere to be found, I had to see everything for myself, by myself and it was actually working at some point. uMvelase is a follow up to Gangular (released 11 January 2019), and really a message to self (from higher self or spirit) to return home—Buyela ekhaya as the last track title suggests, or rather to remember who we are and where we come from.
