Emerging from a small cloud sat atop a rolling hill, Local Knowledge appears with a new story in hand. It’s a damp, leather-bound, somewhat tatty edition, filled with musical adventures dated to a time before the orcs. The first page turns, it is simply titled ~ Knowledge ~

Knowledge begins here, with long[er] form music to enlighten ur mind.

Chapter One in this here sonic tapestry is weaved by Leipzig artisan, Tinkah - an artist we had the good fortune of releasing in 2022, as part of the Return to Nature series.

‘Apathy Is Death’ is a precisely engineered, restless and longing work of experimental bass music. Tinkah has created a sonic landscape that is both mesmerising and haunting. The fundamental note is tension as he speaks a tale of ego and its myriad manifestations.. highs & lows. Climax & anticlimax. Adoration & pity. A 12” quest through the taverns of retrospect.

'Permanent Rain' captures truth in all its honesty. Sometimes it feels so physical, it’s as if time and elements of nature are peeled of layer after layer.
This record combines songwriting with sonic hypnosis. A rhythmic, esoteric oasis, containing currents of mysticism, yet accompanied by contemporary electronics. Its elements translate to a brew of mutant raga, neofolk and tripped out celtic fantasies.
'Permanent Rain' will be out on the 22th of November.

Whether he's seamlessly shifting between genres and tempos or crafting hypnotic, linear grooves, the sense of adventure is ever-present in Sportsmanship's music.

About the dancers

Hannah Stein (she/her) is a graduate of Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. She is performing and choreographing movement based works in the interdisciplinary field of contemporary art.

Evan Webb (they/them) holds curiosity for different forms of expression, including film, performance art, and structural design, within their art practice. They value a multidisciplinary approach.

Suzana Benesova & Issa Cave - Our Constellation

Time is to celebrates Warda's first anniversary with this 4-track EP featuring remixes by Tim Karbon, Acidobasic, De Grandi and Vanda Forte. Somewhere between trap, grime, techno and industrial, this record is an ode to the musical eclecticism supported by the duo.

Hawa هوى (Vanda Forte Remix)

The Copenhagen-based artist Muskila is set to release his new EP, "OK, Fatma," on the 20th of March. The EP takes the listener through emotive club music, incorporating North Kurdish timbres and delving into the realms of bassy dubs. Muskila originally had an EP ready in October last year but decided to delete all tracks and write something completely different that was relevant to the world as he experienced it. The EP was written between October and December 2023 and is a product of how the artist sees the world changing. The visuals for the music portray a contemporary dancer, embodying the concept of being stuck, either physically or mentally.

Furthermore, the EP has 2 remixes and 1 collaborative song. The 1st one from Siu Mata, who has made a name for himself on the club scene with his versatility and genre-bending productions. The 2nd remix is from the Nyege Nyege affiliated artist, DJ Travella, who is responsible for the most exhilarating music of recent years, injecting crackling cybernetic energy into singeli in a semi-improvisational style. Lastly the collaborative song is made with, HEDO HYDR8, an artist who emerges from the rave-rich grounds of Denmark to create immersive, transcendental musical experiences.
