Polina Khatsenka aka mʊdʌki is a Czechia-based sound artist, dj, event organiser and music producer from Minsk, Belarus. She has devoted her work to sound exploration since 2015. Her music production is arising from subconsciousness with an accent to authentic sound sources, author‘s recordings with usage of basic/primitive hardware, including DIY synths, all based on digital setup. Each type of performances of hers are amplified by improvisational methods with space for randomness left in order to make each show bear peculiar energy and provide the listener an intensive feeling of living the moment.

Recalling the first issue of Trance Mediterranea, MBE series is presenting “Chants & Songs” an outstanding long recording on greek folk music selected and recorded by Christos Chondropoulos.

Christos Chondropoulos is a percussionist and an electronic music producer from Athens, for the MBE009 he recorded a 60mins mixtape with a focus on side A on greek folk chants from Epirus (his homeland) and Northern Greece, while on side B he moves on a more rhythmic side of folk music from the same geographic area.
Polyphonic chants, trancy bagpipes, cadence tambourines evoking practically all aspects of life, childhood, marriage, mourning for the dead, pastoral life or historical events.

A mesmerizing work of excavation on the Mediterranean Sea popular culture.

Yes, you read that right. For the latest drop in Bleep’s ongoing mix series we find two of the dance music’s most adventurous, innovative, boundary-pushing artists uniting for almost an hour of blends. @christoph-de-babalon’s resurgence has been a joy to behold these past few years, while @mark-u-ton-acs’s releases on labels like Unterton and A Colorful Storm have built on De Babalon’s legacy of menacing, murky industrial breakbeats. Their Bleep mix enters similar territory in its home straight, with a 160 bpm mash-up of Peder Mannerfelt’s ‘Un-Air’ and Bambounou’s ‘Tour’ proving a particular highlight. The earlier stages contain pounding techno beats that may run slightly slower but still provide the same maniacal, often caustic thrills. Dark ambient and electroacoustic selections periodically punctuate the mix, sewing up its air of malevolent glee.
