From Thrills To Chills Vol. 1

I wrote this song a few years ago and somehow never got around to releasing it. Over the past few years I have written a lot of music and have spent more time producing tracks then anything else in regards to the REVS project. The song is hopefully the first of many to be released over the next few months and into the new year! 

"LOSE CONTROL" is a song about loss & redemption. Its about losing who you are as an individual but fighting to get back what you have lost. Never truly getting back to the exact version of who you were but becoming an improved, callused, stronger version of yourself. Someone that your proud of, someone that has navigated the waters of trauma back to a state of equilibrium and will never let anything knock them off balance again.

Muditā (Pāli and Sanskrit: मुदिता) is a dharmic concept of joy, particularly an especially sympathetic or vicarious joy—the pleasure that comes from delighting in other people's well-being.

"Muditā" is a term from Buddhist philosophy that refers to the joy or pleasure that arises from witnessing or hearing about the happiness and good fortune of others. It is often translated as "sympathetic" or "altruistic joy." This concept is considered one of the four "Brahmavihāras" or "immeasurable" attitudes, which also include loving-kindness (mettā), compassion (karuṇā), and equanimity (upekkhā).

Muditā is essentially the opposite of envy or jealousy. Instead of feeling resentment when others succeed or are happy, someone practicing muditā takes delight in their well-being. It is a pure joy unadulterated by self-interest and is considered a beneficial mental state that contributes to overall well-being and happiness. It helps individuals to connect with others in a positive way, fostering a sense of inner peace and contentment.
