Title is in the game as a drum and bass DJ since 2007. Starting as Vex he continued to explore different musical styles and genres, and soon felt the need to separate his wild and varied production self from his purely drum and bass persona. That's when nickname “Title” was adopted. 

The mix is dedicated to the five years anniversary of a digital label Pathfinder, established by Title and his production soulmate UNVRS. It includes tracks released on the label, as well as production of the community around it, or tracks that will be part of forthcoming Pathways compilation.

We’re proud to host Cate Hops on such a symbolic date as a next Naviny z Fluxu contributor. A founder and curator of Sound System Culture Berlin, music activist, bass lover and member of the Meetup Berlin Crew, Cate Hops based her passion in exploring the Radical Roots of Rave. Her mixing is oftenly as raw as it can get, from roots reggae and dub selections to 140 bpm bass music combined with early 90s acid sounds.

We’re absolutely excited to host @oolongbru in our current episode of Naviny z Fluxu! Jeff is running the edge cutting YUKU @yukumusic record label with his partner, Ilda, and for a while, a record store in Prague-Zizkov until inflation made that unsustainable. Jeff’s close to 40 years old now, and he’s spent his life supporting underground music in various ways and exploring sounds that excite him. Jeff decided against making any kind of prepared mixes some years ago, so his recorded mixes are always improvised from the collection and the result is always a reflection of how he’s feeling in that moment. We hope you enjoy it!

Ilia is a Berlin based Musician. For the past 3 years he has been involved in the Berlin experimental scene, performing, organizing and hosting events and running a small label called Edelfaul. He also enjoys DJing from time to time, trying to walk the line between fringey and danceable music. The mix is full of music to play loud and release aggression after watching the news or scrolling the feed and filling up with anger for the world. Naviny Z Fluxu #17 Ilia Gorovitz (Edelfaul Recordings, Berlin, DE)

D.I.S started collecting and spinning Records around 96/97.

In 2002 he founded the RUFF-E-NUFF movement with Fahda Sensi (Sensi Movement), Motorv8a & Geroyche. From this point on, he was lucky enough to tell his story of bass´n breaks with a blissful touch of caribbean flavor, across the whole continent and beyond. 
  
In 2004 D.I.S and Mashup started the project https://www.raggajungle.biz/. Main goal was/is to spread information and make networking easy and free for everyone, who is willing to dive into the world of jungle. 

In 2010 he started making his own party series which was called "Killa Hertz". This went down for 5 years on a monthly basis, with acts like  Aries, Bladerunner, J Bostron, Capital J, Gold, Symbiz Sound, Max Powa, Dj K and others! 

To make a Long Story short. D.I.S´s set´s always a travel to the full blend of junglemusic, heartfully selected anytime and with focus on the dancefloor!

Vysočina badman DJ Strawberry is coming into the game playing since 2006 (raggajungle, dnb, dubstep, breakcore).
Member of Z.M.E-tekk sound system, Zero sound and currently Unformated, he is working as a software developer and in free time enjoying company of two theater groups Napříč.cz and P.U.D, helping them with lights and sounds. Tomáš is also rganizing parties in Brno club A2 called Obyvák and Pudding in the house focused mainly on house music, breakbeat and electro.

Tomáš says: Actually, this is my first public mixtape and because of my friend’s daughter was born the exact day when I recorded it, it is dedicated to her and it is called Pro Julii.

Naviny Z Fluxu #23 - DJ Desires (Berlin, DE) - Sandbox

Ancestral Vision is a Prague-based producer, DJ, sound designer & co-founder of hybrid club label and radio show Unizone. He is often shifting gears between genres, rhythms, tempos and moods, sometimes even within a single track. Both his music and mixes is a deep melting pot of hybridized club forms, self-collected field recordings and both alien and organic textural sound design. Currently finishing his debut EP.

Here’s what he says about the mixtape  “The first track I prepared for this mix was ironically the closing track Last Dance by Prague-based producer LVCIFER. It felt special to me and I wanted to involve it, even tho I did not have much similar tracks on my mind, but I felt some emotional connection with melancholic neogrime I've been listening to quite a lot. So I thought: OK I have both intro and outro part ready, but what in between, what about “the guts”. And what else represents this better than bassy club bangers that resonate your guts, huh?”

Naviny Z Fluxu #24 Ancestral Vision (Unizone, Prague, CZ)

Welcoming Capiuz to our base clan! An experimental dance project of producer and performer Luca Favaro is based in Italy. His genre-merging production focuses on exploring rhythm and sound design in a club context. Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures. He is currently the host of a show on Radio Raheem and has published with Unizone, Over My Body and Early Reflex. As a programmer he’s developing max for live devices with HIDE Productions.⁠

Capiuz gives us a glimpse on the upcoming show: “The plan for this mix was to focus on a darker and more electric feel that I usually play, weaving it with some more experimental noise-oriented tracks. I feel that breaking up dancefloor rhythms with some harsh noise and evolving sounds is a great way to highlight the best aspects of each song.”

Naviny Z Fluxu #25 Capiuz (HIDE, Milano, IT)

Opium Hum is currently touring in South America, traveling for two months across Brasil, Colombia, Mexico, Bolivia and a few other incredible places. Besides that he’s involved with a series of events, such as Hyper Real or CTM Festival, on top of playing more DJ gigs than ever before. 

Despite the fact that Michail had a few very exciting few weeks, he also have been on the road non-stop, and nevertheless found precious time to record a mix for our show!

Here is some atmosphere to soak before the listen:

“This weekend in particular allowed for very little sleep in-between gigs, I’m really tired in my hotel room, while rain is pouring down on Medellin and the surrounding mountains. It’s a gloomy and slow day that smells like fresh rain on a spring evening, and this mix is trying to capture that mood - deep, dubby, full of ambient textures, but with the occasional boost of energy. Headphones recommended!”

After hearing the first mixes from Boxcutter and Vex'd on Mary Anne Hobbs' Breezeblock show in 2006, RBYN tasted blood and started DJing. Shortly after the purchase of his Technics 1210s he got booked to several Dubstep and Bass music parties and festivals all around Germany. In Berlin he was part of the H.O.M.E. and Dark Real Dark Crews, which curated many bass music nights at various locations in Berlin. He launched his own vinyl label „Through These Eyes“ in 2016 and is still passionate about good quality music after countless years in the scene.

In his professional life, ODODDNT is an interpreter and translator. Outside of it, he is a dj, radio host, producer and an occasional mc. Garage, grime and dubstep is where he's coming from and he suspects it’s where he's headed, too.
Oh and it’s pronounced oh-dee-oh-dee-dee-en-tee, in case you were wondering.

About the mix: 

"I feel the best in the 130-140 zone and I hope it shows on the recording. The set starts at 140 and gradually climbs down to around 130, which felt rather counterintuitive at first, but gave me the opportunity to start out with some deeper dubstep and move through different flavours of varying intensities all the way until the end. The only way is not up, at least when it comes to sets on the radio))"

Naviny Z Fluxu #32 Dissolved (Prague, CZ)

BLEN is an emerging Ghanaian-American selector based in Prague. While an open-format DJ by heart playing anything out of love for the artform, BLEN’s first proper foray into electronic music started with Fatboy’s Slim’s “Slash Dot Dash” at the age of 9 and since then barrelled them into a life-long love for the genre. Within his sets, fun comes first and he hopes to share that with listeners every single second. BLEN also co-runs a weekly house music party series called Disco House Fever in Prague.

@blenblenblen: "I’ve always loved jungle, breakbeat and hardcore. However, I’ve never really had too many opportunities to indulge in that love for 160 and above. Within this mix I decided to seize that; I’ve mixed a lot of jungle, some juke and footwork here and there, and other interesting sounds from old and new (there’s a bonafide Metalheadz classic in there for those who still have their heart pumping for the sound of the 90s). I always like to say “I like to have fun” so I really hope that attitude shows within this 1 hour mix!"
