Rekordbox - part 4

After a break of some time, Eric Sneo is back with his label Mudra-Audio, on which he released his 4th album „Polarity&#8221; and on which there were also releases and remixes of Marco Bailey, A.Paul, Alex Bau and many more&#8230; 
His vision for the label is to follow its line and release more tracks that feature a &#8220;spiritual theme&#8221;.&nbsp; This can be, for example, the use of samples from the world of vocal chants from every culture, religion, continent, or just typical instruments 
from the wide range of world music, or just tracks with an atmosphere or melody, that the artists releasing on Mudra would see as a &#8220;spiritual&#8221;. 
 Eric Sneo himself delivers an inspiring work with Indian instruments, percussion and drums to create the Indian spirit atmosphere, combined with groovy beats.&nbsp; 
In the „Epic Mix&#8221;, Eric worked on this project totally free, just for the vibe and away from the common structures, for you to listen&#8230;

Calling on the label&#8217;s more eclectic inclination, George Perry brings the ethnic-infused &#8220;Vakio&#8221; to the table, and lets the traditional vocals take control while the grinding rhythm section adds to the steamrolling vibe. Futuristic atmospherics come in the form of cavernous percussion, which propel the momentum to maximum overdrive and add a touch of dark class. &#8220;Eightball&#8221; comes at a more subliminal tip with sharp riffs piercing the thick air and manic rises creating an apocalyptic vibe.

Chugging awesomeness is the name of the game here, with Peppelino making his debut on Mudra Audio and delivering two earth-shattering offerings. The rocksteady title track busts out with constantly-evolving synths and a strong percussive vibe, leaving plenty of room for spacious effects and an apocalyptic breakdown. &#8220;Alone&#8221; follows closely with its locomotive groove and rumbling sub bass, subtly hinting to an underlying tribal mood, while cheeky vocal edits and quirky audio manipulation keep the suspense level high.

The boss is back, and in his latest offering on Mudra he nods firmly towards the traditional sounds of the East. With the doumbek drum prominent throughout the whole affair, we are transported to a totally distant land, while lush pads provide an air of luxury and class. The accompanying vocal reinforces the spiritual tone, leaving the tough rhythm section to do the rest of the work. Also provided is the Epic mix, for those more special moments, where you just need the melodic elements to do the talking.
