Jamie Curnock - Indecision [Artaphine Premiere]

Protostar, a colossal warehouse driver, is Dyadic's follow-up to their debut on contrast recordings. The release takes cues from Impulse, portraying a distinctly modern take on classic techno sounds warping them into a rhythmic wall of energy that is unmistakably Dyadic. Stay tuned for further releases from Dyadic coming in the next quarter.

Dyadic is the duo of NY-based Colin Youngwall and LA-based Giancarlo Ferrando. While Colin grew up DJing, Giancarlo was heavy into production. Upon meeting, they unified their skills and discovered prodigious creative chemistry, all while growing a deep affection for techno. This led to the inevitable formation of Dyadic, a project expounded by its hard-hitting rhythms, deep basslines, and brooding tendencies.

OMEN Recordings continues to push forward with no brakes. For our 14th release, we are bringing back Los Angeles based artist, and co-founder, AXKAN, who contributes two original tracks to this hard-hitting EP. Other artists adding their renditions to this project are London based, Manni Dee, and Serbian artist, Scalameriya.

Stealing the show for this Scalameriya Remix are prominent lead synth melodies that are well arranged around the break-beat pattern that compliments the original track. It definitely takes you by surprise in the way new parts are introduced, but never derailing from its persistent hard techno style.
