1.
Hari itu, udara bagaikan tungku.
Sementara berhala kekuasaan
telah lama menggantikan Tuhan.
Mesin jagal bak taring srigala,
siap mengerkah siapa yang beda warna
siap menggilas lagi yang lain ideologi.

"Ssstttt..... intrik berdengung, bersiul 
nyaring di bawah meja, desas-desus 
berhembus Dewan Jendral kudeta.”

Hukum rimba merasuki urat nadi
menjadi duri melanda negri,
adu domba kasta jadi prahara
Tanda silang di pintu korban
sungai berdarah hanyutkan dendam
Tiada asuransi apalagi puisi
kecuali kata sandi, penentu hidup dan mati
Lewat corong penindasan kabarkan berita:
"Mereka semua sudah dikuburkan,
tunggu kabar kematian berikutnya"
 
Laskar serdadu penindasan 
berderak menunggangi kuda kematian
menyapu kota serta desa-desa.
Perkebunan tebu jadi ladang pembantaian
lumbung kematian dan beribu korban tertanam
tanpa ritus penguburan apalagi nisan
(Mayat menggunung sepanjang Oktober 65
awan hitam membumbung di angkasa,
Pancaroba sejarah, 
menelan ribuan korban mati sia-sia.)

Hari itu, hati kita membatu
terbagi dalam kubu-kubu
serta keyakinan yang semu
 
Langit mendung mengurung Nusantara
pembantaian massal terjadi dimana-mana,
pribumi lugu tanpa dosa
diburu, dibuang ke Pulau Buru

: "Tapol"
Cap itu dilekatkan pada kami,
menghitung hari terkurung sangkar besi
dikelilingi kawat berduri
Dari kesunyian yang panjang terentang,
dikucilkan tanpa pengadilan
suara dibungkam
kesaksian diperam dalam pikiran.

"Nyai, aku sekarang terkurung disini.
Semoga di fajar mendatang,
nurani mereka tak terkebiri lagi.
Prahara sejarah tak kan terulang
dan cukuplah sekali.
Cukup sekali!"

Catastrophe 
Elegy For Pramudya Ananta Toer 

1. 
That day, the air was as a furnace.
Whilst the idol of power 
had long replaced God.  
The butchering machines like wolves fangs,  
ready to savage any different color  
ready to crush once more the other ideologies.

"Ssstttt..... 
intrigues buzz,  
whistle sharply under the table, rumors  
blow the General’s Council will stage a coup d’état”  

The law of the jungle possesses the arteries 
and turn into thorns, spread over the country, 
caste is pit against caste, the fights become hurricanes 
Signs of crosses on victims’ doors 
bleeding rivers sweep away resentment 
There is no insurance let alone poetry 
except code words, determining life and death  
That bring the tidings through the voices of suppression 
“They have all been buried, 
wait for the next tidings of death. "

Troops of oppressing soldiers  
clatter as they ride steeds of death  
sweep through cities and villages. 
Sugar cane plantations become killing fields  
barns of death and thousands of victims are buried  
without burial rites let alone headstones 
(Corpses become mountains through October 65 
black smoke billows in the sky 
The changing seasons of history 
devour thousands of victims who die in vain)

That day, our hearts became stone 
divided in different camps and false beliefs 
A clouded sky encages Nusantara 
Mass slaughter is everywhere, 
Innocent natives are hunted and 
exiled to Buru island.

2. 
: "Tapol" 
That stamp was stuck on to us, 
counting days confined in an iron cage 
surrounded by barbed wire 
From a loneliness long and drawn tight 
Exiled without trial, 
Voices silenced  
Witnesses brood in thought.

"Mistress, I am now encaged here. 
Hopefully in the next sunrise, 
their conscience will no longer be castrated. 
This tempest of history shall never be repeated 
and once is enough. 
Once is enough!

カタストロフ（Chatastrophe）

1.

その日、大気はかまどのごとく煮えたぎっていた。
一方で権力の偶像は
もう長いこと神の代行をしていた。
屠殺機械はオオカミの牙のように
色の異なる誰かを食い散らし、
イデオロギーの異なる者らを押しつぶそうとしていた。

「シィーーーー、陰謀が音を立て、
机の下で高らかに口笛を吹き、
クーデターを企む軍上層部の噂が飛び交っている。
シィーーーー」

ジャングルの掟は動脈の中にまで押し入り、
刺となって国を席巻する
階級間の内部分裂は災厄となり
嵐が勃発する。
犠牲者の家の扉には十字の印がつけられ、
流血の川には怨念が漂い流れる。
そこには詩やまして保険などなく、
あるのは生死を分ける暗号くらい。
抑圧のメガホンからニュースが聞こえる
「やつらは皆葬られた、
次の訃報を待て」

抑圧の兵士らの隊列は
足音も高く死の馬にまたがり
都市や村々を一掃していく。
サトウキビ畑は虐殺の広場と化し
死の大産地となって何千もの犠牲者が植えられる
埋葬の儀式やまして墓標などなく。

（1965年10月の間、死体は山をなし
空には黒い雲がたなびき、
歴史の変わり目は
無駄死にした何千もの犠牲者を飲み込んだ。）

あの日、我々の心は石となり、
偽りの信念と陣営によって引き裂かれた。

雲り空は国土を覆い尽くし
そこここで大量虐殺が行われ
素朴な 罪もない人々が
狩られ、「狩りの島*」に捨てられた。

2．

『タポール（政治犯）』
我々にはその刻印が押され、
鉄条網に囲まれ、
鉄のかごに捕われてただ日々を数える。
長く広がる静けさから、
裁判さえなく隔離され
声は沈黙させられ
証言は思考の中にしまい込まれる。
「愛しいおまえよ、私は今ここに捕われている。
　やがて夜明けが来るならば
どうか彼らの良心が再び虚勢されることがないように。
歴史の嵐が決して繰り返されることがないように。
一度で十分、
一度だけで十分なのだ。」

2010年

* 1965年9月30日の事件後、作家プラムディアはインドネシア共産党(PKI)との関係を疑われ,、共産党シンパなど多くの人々と共にブル島（ブル buru には狩りという意味もある）に送られ、10年以上の流刑生活を送った。

"Framed" Remake, My first - really quick - try... Unfortunately I'll never get the chance to improve it because, for whatever reason, my project file is corrupted..!! There's a lot to correct, drums in the intro, distorted guitar, adding sfx etc. I don't want to remake it again so I leave it in this current state, for now...
