Turkmen Lullaby

Link Music Lab presents Iranian kamancheh player Kourosh Babaei, emerging Ukrainian electronic artist Chernilo and multi-percussionist Steve Mancuso. The traditional and classical sounds associated with one of the oldest stringed instruments in Iran is transformed by improvised beats and electronics, drum kit, dumbek, conga, pandeiro and shakers and bells. Three Toronto-based musicians from diverse musical paths coalesce, united by experimentation and play.
