Here we go. The opening set of the first Dr33333ams party by Frinda di Lanco & Hendrik Stein does exactly what it says on the tin. Dreamy, flute-driven melodies melting into hypnotic drum patterns, 90s proto vibes meeting the fluorescent shine of the black light. The dj duo and initiators of the party with a penchant for vinyl records know their genres. Being able to resurrect with a fresh new dance-oriented concept after having just ended a colourful disco party series that used to be a collector's wet dream shows the couple's ability to grow and evolve, setting a focus on the dance floor experience, a raw and passionate moment to undergo. As always staying away from the obvious, Frinda & Hendrik have build their sound on the lesser known edge of progressive house, proto & freestyle house, HiNRG, euro dance, acid and trance. As a rather quiet force in time and space you can witness how the duo has put continuous hard work into musical research and refining their performance. As a result you'll be taken to a unique, honest and well-crafted place where you're allowed to let go, shake it all out and find your true self.

The feedback loop between reality and imagination operates in a truly fascinating way: the world at large provides what we call inspiration, something we use to create our own worlds and these end up informing our perception of the world around us. Art is the materialisation of this dynamic through personal expression and, among all the languages that help it take form, music is probably one of most powerful. Its power stems from its abstract nature that makes it an extremely versatile tool to connect people since it is widely understood and endlessly malleable. A universal vocabulary that is a precious resource to communicate the uniqueness of the human experience and, as such, the one we chose to disseminate our message across the many fronts that make up our efforts as a collective. This series is but a part of those, a means to promote the ever-expanding repertoire of sounds that entice our interests with an ever-growing audience by showcasing the talent that makes and plays it. So, when we have the opportunity to host a savvy selector and deft DJ such as James Falco, someone with whom we share plenty in terms of passion and vision, the sense of fulfillment is magnified, enhanced. This mix, in the end, is a wonderful example of everything we, as peers, deem in the highest regard, both musically and technically.
