i left my soul. on Californian soil.
to come to Glasgow. I felt it so strongly that I should be so compelled as to jump through several hoops just to make sure I could get my passport.  I then sold everything that kept me safe and that I loved to come to a place I knew would be cold and wet. because there's a tidal wave about to crash into America and I wanted no part of it. 
I spent so much money on all these tracks just so I could tell anyone who will listen that I love you
 I will fight for you. so maybe someone would hear me and say.. hey wait a minute... that's mine. ... 
I'm here in this pre-war chaos unanchored like a ship in a storm.  
I bet it all in one pitch and toss and every thing I do... is fruitless.. but maybe that's sometimes just what life is. .
we are all human. and we are the same amount of human. 
when we are weighed out.. packaged neatly to be let go of .. we are exactly the same. 

you will die.
