Flow Sessions 108 - PULLI & CHOMBA

* This set is composed solely from my original productions (originals, collaborations, remixes and edits) and is performed live. *

I started performing my live set about 2 years ago,
and it has been quite the journey.

For me, a whole new world has opened up: 
More challenging, yet more exciting...
More personal, therefore more vulnerable...
More improvised and also leaves more room for “errors”...

After almost two years of playing almost only live, I played at @la_pizzinetulum . This was, from my experience, the most expansive, diverse and interesting set I've ever played. And the crowed there, true music lovers, were there for the whole ride...  

Sometimes, after a night like this, I listen to the recoding and some things are off, but this time, I feel like this set can represents me.
I hope you'll enjoy this 3 hour live journey at least as much as I did...

ITAI (Live) @ La Pizzine Tulum - February 2024

This is my special mix for Hot Situation's "The Bright Side". I started by diving deep in my library and finding cuts from before 2010, and then added a bunch of unreleased music from myself, Unders & Noraj Cue, and the Around Midnight label. It is a tapestry of my full sound and of tracks I've been loving at the moment. A journey through a melodic landscape framed by a special ambient cut I heard at NYC's beloved "Planetarium" music listening Brooklyn loft events. I hope you enjoy it!

Starting the summer on top of the 1 Hotel Rooftop overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge. An unforgettable sunset and moment we wouldn't simply forget. 

Minor sound and voltage issues came and went (no reboots thankfully) but nothing a little patch-work can't fix. That love/hate relationship with live recordings is reallll

So here's the result. For the kids! Let's go back  :)

To experience my first Afrikaburn, being part of the amazing Spirit Train Tribe,  plus the slot for my set was just incredible and definitely one for the books.

To watch the crowd growing from the scratch, the march altogether through the desert and this massive crowd, the mood and energy - wow.
I absorbed all of that and expressed it all in this set.

MARVIN JAM @Afrikaburn 2024, Saturday 20h30-23h30 (The SPIRIT Train)

From 103 to 121 bpm in four hours and I loved every minute of it. You don’t often get the chance to play a set that starts at the beginning of a festival and ends in the evening when people are ready to dance. At the beautiful Georgie’s Wundergarten I got that chance and I’m really thankful for it.

I started really slow when the sun first peaked around the corner, and while people started showing up I picked up the pace towards a full dance floor during the last two hours of my set. It’s what I love to do most: creating a journey while pushing and pulling energy to and from the crowd.

Fun fact: there are eight of my own tracks in there and I never played that many of my own productions in a set.

Island Summer Dream CH - 1. August 24

Sebastian has been sharing and mixing his tunes through the world since he got his first MK2 back in Paris in 2003. Discovering nightlife at Le Palace in the late 90s and soon collecting vinyl's from Parisian stores like Katapult, Techno Import or Kitsuné, the original inspiration came from the Detroit Scene through Garnier's Rex residencies and the terrific Kill the DJ parties at le Pulp. 
He has been behind the decks throughout the US, Europe, Latin America and currently resides in  New York City. Sharing stage with names like Birds of Minds, Unders, Mandrake & Dramian (Mayan Warrior), Carlita, Maga, Bonjour Ben, Djuma Soundsystem, Patrik Khach and Holmar his experience engaging the crowd and technical expertise are praised by the industry. As both a DJ and Music Curator at Amaya Society in New York, he is well-equipped to take his audience on a unified journey of downtempo, melodic house with deep and dark transporting sounds.
