When I Stopped Playing Hard to Get

A three-channel projection installation.

Mujinga will present a new video installation in IAC's café area with projections on large plexiglass plates. On the 11th the installation will be activated by a performance with Sandra Mujinga herself and two models. The performance will be a continuation of her interest in Congolese weddings and footage of them that she finds online.

Nearly a year ago Kunsthall Oslo presented a three-day programme of performances, concerts and screenings around the city of Oslo. This year, also in September, Soft City will reappear in Malmö, in a different form, as an extension or supplement to Kunsthall Oslo’s aim to present contemporary artists, that inhabit or subvert established genres of performance.

In Malmö all events will take place at the same venue, IAC, creating a more compact programme, on 4 and 11 September. Between and after these two days, exhibitions, installations and screening will run through to 20 September.
Inter Arts Center is a platform for experimental art and artistic research, located at the old Mazetti chocolate factory in Malmö.

Almost like to flog a dead horse (Podium gallery, Oslo)

On saturday the 28th of January, Sandra Mujinga will present a performance titled " A week before the Frantz Reichelt thing" at TIMES at midnight.  

Frantz Reichelt attempted a flight off the Eiffel Tower in Paris  on the 4th of February, 1912. 

"Frantz  Reichelt, was an Austrian-born French tailor, inventor and parachuting pioneer, now sometimes referred to as the Flying Tailor, who is remembered for his accidental death by jumping from the Eiffel Tower while testing a wearable parachute of his own design."
