「ワーカホリックな慌ただしい平日をどうにかくぐり抜け、ようやくたどり着いた日曜日。のんびりとリラックスしながら気ままに休日を過ごす彼の心には、時間の経過とともにいつしか“void= 空虚感” が漂い始めていた…。」
近年再び盛り上がりを見せる“Ambient～NewAge～Tape カルチャー” をキーワードに、やけのはら•P-RUFF•H.TAKAHASHI の3人によって結成されたアンビエント•ユニット、UNKNOWN ME。1 作目となる今回、彼らがスポットを当てたのは“日曜日”。
まるで窓から差し込む日光のような、浮遊感のあるやわらかい音像と丸みを帯びたリズム。日が傾くにつれて、それらが重なり溶け合ってまどろみへと誘う。夜が深まり徐々に立ち現れる、スペイシーなトリップ感を帯びたアンビエンス。“誰も知らない誰か” の休日の過ごし方にフォーカスし、起床～就寝までの時間の移ろいを軸として展開する、ウォーミーでリラクシンな30 分。
DJ、ラッパー、トラックメイカー、執筆家として様々なシーンを縦横無尽に横断し独自の活動を続けるやけのはら。DJ 活動と並行してレーベルradloop を主宰、7inch 作品のリリースを重ねるP-RUFF。Entertainment Systems、Where To Now? Recordings 等、海外レーベルからもカセット作品をリリースするアンビエント作家H. TAKAHASHI 。
3 人がそれぞれ持つバックグラウンドや音の個性が絶妙に交わることで、奇跡的に生み出されたアンビエント•カセットが、やけのはらのレーベル“NOPPARA TAPES” のリリース第一弾として少量限定リリース！

Ambient unit building unknown someone's imagined landscape START!!

"He withstood workaholic weekdays, finally arrived Sunday. While he spends relax and take it easy, he feels void unawares.."

"Ambient~New Age~ TAPE culture" showed a climax in recent years, Yakenohara ? P-RUFF ? H. Takahashi set it as keyword, and start an ambient unit, "UNKNOWN ME".

For their first album, they shed a spotlight on Sundays.
Their floating and soft sound and rounded rhythm like sunlight coming through window.
These blend into each other as a day inclines, and invite you to slumber.
Night deepens, ambience with a feeling of trip appears little by little.
This album which focus on how someone spends a day off, express passage of time to going to bed from getting up, is warm and relaxing 30 minutes.

Yakenohara, he actives widely as DJ, rapper, track maker, and writer.
P-RUFF, he presides the label "ladloop" side by side DJ activity, and release 7 inch works.
H. Takahashi, he is an ambient artist who releases cassettes by world labels such as Entertainment systems, Where To Now? Recordings etc...

The 3 backgrounds and the personality of sounds are crossed exquisitely, the ambient cassette is in this way produced miraculously.

International Producer, DJ and Radio Host, Edwardteach, debuts in the first VK Underground’s release with his track “Ich Bin Ein Berliner”.A meticulous work, where teaming up with the label’s head honcho, Rwbel, explore the boundaries between techno and minimal,creating their own sonic landscape where the general atmosphere completely surrounds the listener.
The EP opens with Edwardteach’s Ich Bin Ein Berliner, which introduces us in a deep techno universe, where the producer takes us immediately to his second home’s dancefloors, Berlin. A thick and powerful bass completely takes over your consciousness.
The second track, Rwbel’s remix, digs even deeper in the boundaries between minimal and techno where simplicity and contundence are key elements of this rework. Rwbel also adds different elements with echoes from the 90s, so you must be careful if you close your eyes while listening as you can be transported straight
into a sweaty club.
Both producers excelentley play their cards, creating an EP that questions the current model of music genres where everything must be white or black, playing on a range of grey giving to the listener a new perspective on techno that will prevail over
time.
