Welcome to my new musical project: Multifuse 🥁 This is my first recording from Kater Blau's Acidbogen, taking over a vibrant floor after Mimi Love ❤️‍🔥 Thank you, dear dancers, it was magical 🫠.

During the past year, as I explored new music, I noticed an increasing trend in my thoughts: "Is this something people would expect Varuu to play?", as opposed to solely trusting my own taste and intuition. This shift made me feel detached from the music I played since I chose more often to stick with what I felt was expected from me. "Varuu" and I grew apart to a point where I could no longer identify with this persona.

Changing my name was necessary for me to rediscover my love of electronic music. With Multifuse, I want to care less about genre boundaries and persona expectations and more about sharing my love for mixing music, in order to create musical journeys with all of you 🎶 

Thank you to everyone who supported me during this five year journey as "Varuu" ✨ I can not overstate how thankful I am for all the hugs, dancefloors, comments, memories, travels, and moments I experienced during this time.

Welcome to the Strand at Sisyphos! It took us only 11 years of luv and friendship (and obv two DJ carriers) to finally play a set together. This is the foundation of a stable, trusted, musical bond between bird and fuse, two weirdos providing powerhouse, uplifting funk and music to make a duck face to (before the set we agreed of letting go of Indie Dance and committed us to house. See what actually happened lol). Thank you Sisyphos to make this a thing now and thank you my dear boi to still be around, exploring and analysing life with me. You good <3

For many years,  "Kiosk" was my favorite floor at Kater Blau. With the light streaming through the windows, caught in the fog-filled room, and people holding on to the ropes hanging from the ceiling - a dream!

I didn't even explore the other floors until Kiosk, sadly, had to close, forcing me to move on. Now, I’ve had the chance to play a Kiosk-style set for my favorite cats 🐈 Enjoy!!

Im November, wenn der Winter schon vor der Türe steht, scheint die Vorstellung barfuß am Strand zu tanzen ganz weit weg. Umso mehr freu ich mich, dass dieses lange verschollene Set nun aufgetaucht ist! Alle Songs erinnern mich an diesen unvergesslichen Festivalsommer! Danke an alle! Kommt gut durch den Winter <3

This journey starts energetic and turns deeper in the middle, with a groovy touch. It ends on a rather melancholic note. It pretty much sums up my year until now 🙏 That's why I personally really like this set.
