'Sounds Of Khemit builds on the success of their first release by quickly following up with a superb various artist collection. A broad mix of artists from around the world all contribute to what is a brilliantly diverse album.

The Sounds of Khemit label is focused on serving up music to transport the listener to higher states of consciousness, unlocking and strengthening our life mission on this planet. It aims to bring harmony and joy to people in their daily lives, and this new collection sure backs that up.

Fabian Krooss is a Berlin-based talent who also appeared on this label's first EP. His 'Papilio' is beautifully delicate and roomy, with fractured melodies darting about over soft drums. 

Khepri is a fine statement of musical intent from this already vital label.'

We are proud to present the first official release of the very talented dj & producer Felipe van Lagerback based in Amsterdam.

After winning the X-mass Instruments for Change Remix Contest with his smashing remix we dove into his music production library. 

This resulted in the instant love for his track called “Trust”
This 7 minute epic melodic / Italo banger including his own almost opera sounding vocals gave us ghost bumps all over when we heard it for the first time. The dirty fat bass line and arpeggio’s give it that exact typical punchy dance floor experience. The song is created after a personal experience driving through the mountains with his girlfriend. Can you feel the urgency?

Lucky for you the legend @marcus-meinhardt took the remix duties this time. He delivered an even more straightforward dance floor destroyer than the original.

The iconic club by the Spree celebrates 20 years with a mammoth 20 track compilation of new and unreleased tracks exclusive to the compilation. From Sasha to Anja Schneider, Henrik Schwarz and Adana Twins, right through to the ascendent names such as JAMIIE, Kristin Velvet, JOPLYN and Biesmans, the compilation is an exhilarating snapshot of some of the artists who have shaped Watergate’s sound; both via the label and through laying down unforgettable sets at the club over a two-decade period. 
 
The highlight heavy compilation charts a course throughout all the deep, dark, euphoric, tech and even pop-laden corners of house music. Henrik Schwarz navigates a classic course via the vibey ‘You Need Attitude’, while JOPLYN brings soaring melodies and arresting vox with ‘Lima’. Biesmans is in characteristic sleek form with the sparkling nostalgic-soaked business of ‘Basic Bro’, before emerging stars Mia Mendi contribute a driving electro jam ‘Astromech’. 
 
The iconic Anja Schneider is an essential addition. The Berlin icon brings her A-Game with the big piano chords and gospel vocals of ‘Can’t You See Me No More’ before handing the baton to Extrawelt who comes strong with a delicious micro house serenade ‘Rover’. Sasha weaves a trademark masterful beast with ‘Wolf Cider, a dark and twisted weapon that’s packed with plenty of groove and low-end attitude. First premiered during her excellent Boiler Room session in 2019, Kristin Velvet’s ‘Wanted Competition’ is a propulsive gem that reinforces her position as one of the most exciting breakout producers of the last two years. 
 
Adana Twins are always on-point and they don’t disappoint with ‘Nacht’ a deviant, distorted house tool the belongs in every DJ’s back pocket. Matthias Meyer & Ryan Davis enjoy a superlative history on Watergate Records and share another ace ‘Genki’, a shimmering, drama-laden piece that morphs into a tougher psy-laden finish. New Watergate Agency signing DJEFF crafts an uplifting string-laden ace with ‘Cloud 7, showing off his impressive musicianship along the way, while Hyenah make an essential contribution with the funky key-driven houser ‘Going in Circles’. Club resident JAMIIE shares the wicked ‘Echoes’, which is pacey and hypnotizing in equal measures and brought to life by colourful arpeggios and a latticework of key patterns. The project rounds out on a stunning note with ‘Tone Trails’, a lilting slice of electronica by Watergate stalwart Marco Resmann & Lee Jones, which is inflected with organic guitar and dreamy melodies. 
 
The release will be presented as a triple gatefold vinyl using a special ink-spot color effect and will feature a collection of the compilation’s key tracks, while all tracks will be available digitally.

As a new dawn arrives, we’re thrilled to welcome back Quebec’s Monarke to XYZ. There’s Still Time fosters a progressive sizzler, with swirling soundscapes pushing us deep into the solar system.

Canada’s Tyler Mesa returns to the imprint with a heady heater, showcasing his range and innovation in the studio. Serene Dream is all about the synthetic hook, which ebbs & flows perfectly over a masterful melody. A soon-to-be club classic from Mesa to kick off the year.

Closing out our third edition of Blanche is our beloved Brazileiro - Maty Owl - who provides an instrumental version of his recent remix for Erdi Irmak. Keep ears tuned, as we have lots more Maty Owl material coming in the near future!

For ATL014 we head to the sprawling sunny metropolis of LA as talented duo Speaking In Tongues mastermind a stunning 3 tracker, assisted via Buenos Aires with a remix courtesy of Santiago Garcia.

Speaking In Tongues have greated something truly special with 'Passenger' drawing you in from the first bar through a focused 4/4 groove and deep edgey undercurrent, giving a sense the music can erupt at any point. Focus is drawn to the vocal as the intermittent cry of 'Pasajeros' meets crashing resonating percussive beats. The dancefloor moment is sustained by a deep overhead bass bombardment and hypnotic groove that will have you hitting the loop button for repeat plays.

Santiago Garcia provides a dramatic remix, pitching the bpm down to focus on the percussive tribal elements and melodies, letting the stunning 'Passenger' vocals shimmer and take over while giving listeners a a real sense of space.

Uplifting closer 'Twenty Nine Palms' transports listeners to a far off mystic land as Speaking In Tongues weave their sonic patterns through swathes of tasteful analogue sounds, revererating vox and undulating bass over crisp hats.

Speaking In Tongues are Los Angeles House and Techno duo, Miguel Angel and Philip Anthony. The pair have released music on their own label 'Eternal Order' plus the likes of Motek, Clouds Above and Chilli Mint.

The recent Speaking In Tongues remix of Kauf featured on Kölsch's BBC Radio One Residency, and originals like 'Hear Me' featuring Cari Golden have had live plays from Damian Lazarus, Sasha, Lee Van Dowski, Herna'n Catta'neo and BOg.

Cooper Saver has been in fine form of late. His recent release, 'The Search' on Permanent Vacation was huge and is still being hammered in the clubs. Here he takes on 'Traca y Pólvora' from the French-born, Valencia-based artist Darlyn Vlys, with a stunning remix. A slightly lighter take on the original with an easy groove and a moving bass line that makes this the perfect end of the night track.
