Besides being a DJ & graphic designer, multifun (@multifun) is the name & face behind Multimix - a project and platform for everyone who loves music. Serving a diverse range of genres and styles, the Multimix series is intended to push against the status quo of mostly male dominated music platforms, with the idea of providing musical subcultures not only with a space in general, but also a chance to be seen & heard. Multimix tries to provide a representative image of what mixing, producing and throwing parties can look & feel like.⁣
With the diversity issues that music & our communities face, it is easy to understand why FLINTA & BIPOC will always be considered first on multifun's platform. She's joined by a good friend of hers - skillful & brilliant selector Chris (@_dj_chris_) - for the second hour of this month's Empty Container episode. ⁣

Dear MLTMX Listeners!

It's februrary, we all wait for winter to end and prepare for what comes next this year. Until then let's get through this last weeks of greyness and same unpleasing weather (at least in Berlin). For this second episode of Mixed Up @multifun prepared an etheral, and trippy set, playing her favorite proggy trance and early psy tracks of the last months. Hoping to make every boring day a bit more magical.

Berlin-based CHOREOPHILA developed his passion for electronic music at old school raves, hence his musical style is strongly influenced by the period of the mid 90s to early aughts. CHOREOPHILA means „love of dancing“ and this credo defines his sound. Spanning a wide genre range from house to trance he aims to create uplifting energies that will make you move your body. 

He is a resident DJ at HRA and recently started his own podcast- and soon-to-be event series JUICY CULTURE Berlin.

Shmonèss, born & raised in Vienna, started playing at local raves in 2022. Together with friends, she founded the now well-established collective @mahlwerk.mwk and quickly became a well-known face in the Viennese club scene, playing in venues like @grelle_forelle, @flexvienna_official, & @theloftvienna. The now Berlin-based DJ focuses on having fun in her sets & even more sharing her positive energy with the crowd. With frænz:'s rhythmic grooves and limbic sis's drummy soundscapes, bae2bae delivers a sound that resonate with the pulse of the contemporary music scene.
