What happens when you slow down the first 20 seconds or so of the the intro to TNG by 1000%? Well you get the strange evolving atmosphere littered with frequency's and harmonics that are pretty darn soothing at times.

So what if we take the 1000% slowed down TNG intro music and make it into really weird tap like music. Its weird right.......but why do I like it.....I really shouldn't like this.....Its so poorly done........why am I laughing so hard.

Trap Trek

Just a quick little track made fresh from cut up star trek TNG comm badges. Its been a rough number of months and Ive been away and am getting back to work again. Its really nice to be back in the studio and come back with some new thoughts and ideas. This was the last thing I was working on before I took a break and I just finished it up and wanted to share.

Just a bouncy little track that makes me want to rap about my Juno-60. But its a fun 2 minutes thats playful and great to listen to on a little walk around your neighbourhood.

I took a look at Alev’s ‘3’ sample library and had a play at how these samples feel and what kind of atmospheric environment I could build with them. These tracks are 80% Alev’s ‘3’ samples in combination with my Juno 60 and a recording from Kepler's deep sky recordings from NASA. #alevlenzsparkcompetition

Wormsign (MsC - Redux)

Working on new sound ideas and trying to find the next direction I want to go in. This is Experiment 10.

Experiment 10

Imagine that you are in a spaceship and you decide to drift into a cosmic formation, a stellar nursery. In this place in your ship you have the ability to speed up time a little and you lay on the floor of your ship and you feel stars bursting into life. The drone of your ship keeps the movement of time going as you listen to the rattling vibration of matter. what once feels chaotic now finds a sense of order and harmony's of light twinkle through.

I'm continuing my exploration into a new way of thinking about music and for that matter audio/sonic experiences. Music and audio does so much for us and its a vast space to explore. The cover photo is M43 that I took using a remote telescope in South America. Hope you enjoy experiment 11.

Experiment 11

Just another one in the experiment serious to figure out what I want in the new album of stuff. You are going to get dropped right into the song so no buildups just Arps. But that being said I really like this one in the way the Arps are playing nicely. Also you cannot not like some good Juno sounds!

I wrote this album in 2021 at the height of the pandemic, I was melting out of my mind sitting at home and I would just day dream about traveling again. I was thinking about so much that at a certain point I even just wanted to be stuck waiting at airport terminal because my flight was delayed. I love flying and I love how every trip changes me little makes me feel different. 

I wrote this album because I missed that feeling. The tracks are vibes that I've felt while traveling. Some are bouncy and some are just weird and have a whole vibe of a story to tell. When you get to the Terminal tracks, strap in because your going to be in that track for a while.

In this second album I really wanted to go to darker places, places that had a sense of volume and space for me. In a way I found a place that felt like home. Its in a lot of ways like a dark cave and occasionally there is a sparkle or shimmer of light.

You get Mac Crash a very weird and eclectic song meant to play with your nostalgia and call back to a time of really silly stuff.

This song is a reflection of how I feel these days and has hints of notes of inspiration from a song I cherish called Pure Imagination by Gene Wilder. 

My song may seem sad and it is but there are gems and glimpses of happy if you let the sound take you away.
