"Cyprus based duo first appeared on the Greek imprint in July of 2017 with a contribution to the label's ‘Technical Progress, Vol. 7' collection. May of 2018 saw the much loved duo return with a well received remix of SEQU3L's ‘Jelly Bells'. 2019 has seen Paul and Don continue to rise with steady support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with key releases on Clubsonica Records, Dopamine Music and Soundteller Records. Now embarking on the most anticipated project of their career, Paul and Don return to Movement Recordings for their debut EP alongside remixes from Supacooks and Reig (FR).

Beginning with ‘Entrance of the Underworld' moves into darker territory with a boundless groove, charged rhythms and clusters of devilish percussion. Aptly titled, it's both foreboding and mysterious with a flair for the dramatic, particularly across an expansive and hugely impactful break. Rough, rugged and full of amazing sonic artefacts, it's a centrepiece to unite your crowd before taking them to euphoria's top floor.

At the companion piece ‘Hephaestus', Paul & Don explore the peak time progressive sensibility that they've become so loved for. It's tough, rolling groove is perfectly carved, adorned with fiery percussion and timely chord changes. Smooth and emotive across the first act, eventually leading to a buzzing break where a bed of sizzling electronics elevates tension and mood, before a classy peak sparks an epic finale. 

The lone interpretation on 'Entrance of the Underworld comes by Supacooks. 

The release concludes The lone interpretation of ‘Hephaestus' is provided by Reig who makes his label debut. Residing in Corsica, the French artist has been crafting a unique brand of melodic techno since first appearing in 2013. Releases on Aftertech Records, Steyoyoke and Traüm Schallplatten highlight his discography, while he remains a prominent figure in his country's nightlife, having performed alongside Agoria, N'to, Worakls, Etienne de Crécy and Simian Mobile Disco.  "

For our 50th release, Modern Agenda is pleased to welcome Hacobb to the label with this four track EP called Dialogues. Aptly named, our connection with Hacobb started on the right foot through a face-to-face meeting in Athens a few months ago. We had already signed this Ep but had the chance to meet its maker too! We would love to tell you more but Hacobb is still pretty elusive, we couldn’t even find his bio. He is Scottish Greek and a talented producer, that is what we know for sure. 

The Dialogues EP is made up of four solid melodic dreamy and tracks that are introspective and creative. The cadence varies along with each track’s intensity, making this an EP of super tunes to fit any set at any hour. A little lighter than some of our releases, this one will take you on a soundscape journey from the second you press play.

The latest selection of tracks from Lopezhouse, the duo consisting of David Lopez and Carlos Cruz from La Mancha, Spain, have been a steadfast fixture in John Digweeds DJ sets for months now, their unique creativity always getting huge crowd responses everywhere around the globe. Surfing those uncharted sound waves, Something Is Happening is an utterly hypnotic 12-minute throbbing futuristic journey, that constantly surprises and delights with twists galore. The Spanish duos uniquely esoteric, organic attitude also shines bright throughout their lunar landing inspired Strange Music From Dark Side Moon. This is exceptional forward-thinking House music at its finest.

Lopezhouse first came to the attention of Bedrock fans when John Digweed included Guy Js excellent dub remix of Crosses & Angels on his Live in Brooklyn opus. Their debut November Clouds EP followed in the summer of 2017 and was met with much critical acclaim. Since then, they have carefully navigated their ever-rising popularity and gained huge respect with further excellent releases on the likes of Exploited, Plattenbank, Sincopat, Suara and Vondreib, before returning to Bedrock to conclude a highly successful 2019. Lopezhouse are most definitely artists to watch into the future.
